Last night Colbert used Russian dolls to illustrate the mounting Republican scandals. He shows that as long as each prior scandal is overshadowed by a new larger one, the others effectively no longer exist. He also gives the GOP some suggestions on the next one that's needed to swallow Foleygate.

The scandal progression goes: No WMD's --> Abu Ghraib --> Secret Prisons --> Warrantless Wiretapping --> Abramoff --> Torture --> Foleygate --> ???
