Remember the post I did about a month ago about Mohammed at Gorilla's Guide? The reality for this teenager of living in a war zone was just so raw, so palpably painful to read. While Mohammed's post was sad in tone, it was hard to miss the anger just seething underneath.

Since that last post, Gorilla's Guides has lost two of its contributing bloggers--a father and son--killed by a car bomb. The anger at Gorilla's Guides is not seething underneath anything any more. It is full out and it is raging, justifiably so.

In the Irak (sic) created by America more than 70% of the population are unemployed. They depend on food rations. Those food rations are not adequate. Not even remotely adequate.

Worse than that long after the Americans deliberately and knowingly committed the war crime of bombing civilian water treatment plants those plants are still unrepaired. Lots of no-bid contracts to American corporations of course. As you might expect because this is American occupied Irak, the work either wasnt done at all or was so inferior that the plants just don't work

What that means is the millions of people are forced to use water that contains faecal matter. Millions of them don't have enough money to boil the water to make it safe.

And as saying things politely often doesn't seem to work with those of our audience who come from the USA I'm going to resort using the sort of language suitable for the purpose.

The corruption and inferiority associated with everything that America has done in Iraq means that millions of people have to drink and cook with water that contains shit.

This child's hunger has been repeatedly worsened by water containing shit. Even under the worst of Saddam's regime the water was treated. Everything that America has done in Irak has turned either to shit or to blood. Amazingly there are still Americans stupid and self-satisfied and hypocritical enough to believe that America can do some good there or undo some of the evil that America has already deliberately and knowingly committed and continues to commit in Irak by remaining. These hypocrites think that Irakis and the rest of the world are stupid enough to believe the comforting American lie that this time America will behave like a civilised nation in a country that America has raped repeatedly.

This child has lost his leg, and suffered a life of deprivation because of American lies, and the barbaric way in which America invaded and occupied Irak.

When this child is sent home from hospital in a few days his wounds will be washed by parents trying to do their best for the child they love in water containing shit.

That water is America's gift to them and their mutilated child.

Remember this anger and realize the ramifications of the US occupation of Iraq then next time you hear Bush say that Iraqis should be grateful for "liberating" them or any of the other senseless and obscene politicking in Washington about withdrawing troops.
