What Cheney is doing is simply exactly what we have seen him doing for years now. He has operated outside of our traditional oversight and transparency in government since he took office (secret energy meeting anyone?). What's so much more disturbing is how silent the media (outside of Keith Olbermann) and our other two branches of government have been, as Cheney has been refusing oversight since 2002.
