COMMMMUTE!
Hong Kong Tourism Board? I had to laugh when I read that one. I wonder why Hannity stopped there. I mean, lets have a real show of Hannity’s supposed “freedom” sponsored by none other than North Korea’s Kim Jong Il! Oh wait, maybe Hannity is saving that for next year.
dubyah and Osama….no difference what-so-ever. They both hate America and both hate lawfulness.
let freedom riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing
Olbermann is going to have a special comment tonight calling for Bush and Cheney to resign.
Typically you can see Olbermann’s mood change with each segment. From happy, to disgusted to outraged.
Last nite was the first nite that I’ve ever watched him where I thought there was alot of tension in the air. Even John Dean seemed pensive and “off balance”. Honestly, there was almost a sense of “geeez, what the hell is REALLY going on here”.
I think it is really starting to sink that we have REAL concerns, issues and alot of uncertainty about the future with this Administration.
Hannity is aligned with communist China….no big surprise.
What’s wrong with the HKTB sponsoring? Hong Kong is a lovely city, and it is (supposedly) a bastion of freedom in a country of dictatorship. You can see it as a dry run of introducing democracy to a previously dictatorial system! (Before the Chinese got it back, it was definitely a One Man, One Vote system. Thanks Chris Patton!)
And with the recent demonstrations over the “re-unification” holidays, maybe they are the right people to sponsor!
“Help free a nation! Come to Hong Kong!”
So Bush reduces the sentence a known traitor who in turn covered the Bush Administration’s own treasonous acts against our fellow Americans. You will excuse me if I am not exactly in the mood to set of any sparklers this Fourth of July. After Bush’s actions I see very little to celebrate.
Reich-wingers are STILL outraged over Clinton’s pardons, yet the reich-wing scum congratulate herr dubyah for acting so “bravely” with Libby. jebus, you “people” are complete and utter morans [sic].
what? our most gracious and merciful emperor has found it in his infinite compassion to grant forgiveness to a maligned and wounded servant of the empire.
poor, poor “scooter” Libby, hobbling on crutches,..how could you be so callous?
Oh, I’m sorry, I was watching FOX & Friends at the gym this morning.
Dr. Matt @ 10:
The word is HYPOCRITES.
It also applies to the right wing railing about REVISIONIST COURTS, ACTIVIST JUDGES, FEDERALISM, TAXATION, FOREIGN POLICY, ECONOMIC POLICY and CONSERVATISM in general.
but but but “clinton did it too!”
Lisa @ 13:
Ain’t it great, Lisa. It’s like having a discussion with a group of five year olds.
How many of these “ask the candidate videos” do you think will be about impeachment after all of this? And how many will CNN actually air?
I can’t wait for Keith’s special commentary tonight. He’s going to be ON FIRE!!
It’s too bad that the criminals in the WH will simply laugh at him. Resign? Yeah, I’m holding my breath.
I bet George Bush would have pardoned Benedict Arnold as well.
Thank goodness for Keith and free speech (such as it is)
Wow, no mention of Bill O’Reilly for Worse, Worser or Worst Person in the World?
[Very perceptive of you, dennis. Now, do you actually have anything to add to the conversation? — Sitemonitor]
Liberal AND Proud @ 12:
You’ve got that right.
Activist judge= judge that doesn’t agree with them.
I love working in DC but the commute is killing me.
Olberman should have declared boosh the wurst person in the world.
That way we could start grilling him.
dennis @ 19:
I try not to.
Grant him immunity and then force Scooter to testify or go to jail.
Too harsh? This from the man that put retarded people to death as the governor of Texas? And laugh at Carla Faye Tucker.
Shuster made Tucker look like a twit.
ChicagoKid @ 24:
The Pretzelnit obviously feels no kinship with anyone. Even those that are like him.
Nice job on the screen cap! :D
Instant Karma’s gonna get you…Boosh!!!!!!!
Take a look at that picture, America.
That is your PRESIDENT.
Bravo, Keith! You are probably the only one with the balls to say what we have all been thinking. I wish we could clone you and put you in Congress and mass media.
if you don’t blame the democrats for the current state of things then your sadly confused. they have the majority. more importantly, they have being right on thier side. yet, listen to the crickets chirping.
nothing.
why?
because they a part of the corporate paid gov’t just like the republicans. there’s no difference.
people always blog “wake up!” “wake up!”.
if your not awake now, your dead.
Lisa @ 4:
Or as Bush misquoted, “Let freedom reign.”
dennis @ 19:
What, are you saddened that your pathetic little idol BillO just couldn’t come up to snuff to win another award? Here’s a hanky…have a good cry, blow your nose and take a nap. You’ll feel better, I promise.
[deleted troll]
Um, aren’t you on this site?
[You are trying to make a point, right? — Sitemonitor]
michael @ 31:
Mmm, nice try but I’m not buying. The dems have had a razor thin majority for all of SIX MONTHS after 6 YEARS of one party rule. They can’t override any of the presNOT’s vetoes and have to pick and choose priorities. One of which should be chimpeachment!
ChicagoKid @ 25:
No, God made him that way.
Ugg!!! Lee greenwood’s “God Bless the USA”. Every parade and fireworks display will be blaring this support-the-Chimp lemmings-with-their-blinders-on feel-good anthem. That redneck song alone is why I want to sit on my porch and drink, and not mingle with the slack-jawed zombies (like Amazed) tomorrow.
michael @ 31:
What hallucinogenic substance, exactly, are you ingesting, little man? The Democrats are not to blame for the current state of things…that’s all your boy Booshie and his Cabal of Corrupt Cronies. The Repubs have had the power for 12 years, from 1994 to 2006, and all the problems with this country can be laid at their feet.
Talk about not being awake…you really need to take the needle out of your arm and get off the juice.
I had a recent epiphany (which might be only a new thought for me but…)
It’s not just that Bush et al are evil, it’s also that they are pretty smart. Not Bush himself, but the people around him. They know how to manipulate the law and find loop holes. It’s why they always look so smug when they pull a good one.
I watched all of coverage on Libby. All the talking head mention a possibility of a pardon but no one, NO ONE, even thought about a commuted sentence as an option. Why is that? Some of the talking head are pretty smart themselves, you know. They know the law backwards and forwards, but they don’t think of underhanded, sneaky, unethical options. It’s not the way their minds work. They have a sense of what is fair play and decent. Rove would have been a good con man, I bet. The kind that sold swampland as opposed the political kind he is, I mean.
I really thought that nothing could shock or surprise me with this group. But they always manage to top even themselves.
I still wonder if Iran and many other nations gave the Bush Administration a medal for outing Valerie Plame. I can imagine what the letters from those nations to The Bush Administration must have looked like. Maybe they read something like:
“Dr. President Bush,
Thank you for outing one of your own CIA agents. By doing so our intelligence services were able to link her and her front company to many sources operating in our country. In fact, we located many covert CIA operatives that were also working here. You will be pleased to know that they have been arrested, tortured and killed. If ever you feel the need to out another one of your agents please feel free to let us know. It makes our job so much easier. In light of your service to our nation Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is bestowing upon you the Order of Pahlavi.”
How can boosh commute a sentence when he can’t even compound one?
ysbaddaden @ 41:
Maybe Boosh thought he was putting Scooter on a commuter train. He likes choo choos, you know, and dressing up like a cowboy.
Lisa @ 34:
Ever notice that the average winger troll has a very limited vocabulary and is not imaginative at all? Try reading a book.
Gregory @ 42:
Well you know what a Freudian would say about the imagery of a train entering a tunnel.
ysbaddaden @ 44:
That sometimes a cigar is just a cigar?
[Deleted. Off topic. Do not post this type of information, even if you did “glean” it from an open source]
Wow. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen Keith not have BOR as part of the “World’s Worst”.
Cantor de Mambo @ 43:
No. They just look at the pictures.
I just called the “shooter” number and got through to the VP’s office. I asked the woman that I wanted to know what the president thought of Scooter’s sentence being commuted.
Gregory @ 42:
ChicagoKid @ 25:
Tucker is a twit, and the US has known it since he has been on the video propaganda machine.
Well the Chinese sponsor nearly everything else here, why not Hannity? He’s just kow-towing to the people who own the property.
I wonder if he’s said anything shitty about China, or the return of Hong Kong to China back in 97, or thereabouts.
So when is Bush gonna pardon bin laden?
ChicagoKid @ 49:
Where oh where do these brilliant minds come from???
