Okay, maybe I’m mishearing things, but it sounded to me that Falafel Man just said that consumers should remind corporations not to reward bad behavior. You know, like hate speech or advocating violence against an innocent group of people?
So, does anyone have a list of FOXNews/O’Reilly’s advertisers?
Kos is giving a pony to the person who finds the “violent overthrow” diary on the homepage. C’mon, Markos, you know Billo doesn’t let something as petty as a truth or reality to get in the way of getting his secular-progressive hate on…

RE: TV ratings,… Funny, I don’t watch TV. Seems like smart, creative people are out living their lives, while vapid, goose stepping sheep stay glued to Fox News so they can be told what to think.

I’m sure there have been calls for Civil Disobedience, like most countries experience in times of exceptional distress, like today in the USA. I know I’ve tried to organise a General Strike in the USA, but I was ALWAYS met with “pooh,pooh, on you, the Democrats will see us through…” by everyone I communicated with. The Business of Politics is Money and Power and it doesn’t matter who you vote for (Dem or Repub)…the People will not get satisfaction…there should be an abolition of a two party system…no one political party should have more than 20% membership in Congress/Senate…that would (hopefully) allow for a more diverse political landscape.
Will you guys actually do something about the biggest misinformer, liar and hater - Bill O’?

I’m just waiting to be typed down to by the “experts” who will pontificate that my ideas are patently absurd…
At what point can a blog, news organization, or individual sue a “news” reporter, his show, or parent company. Often Bill O’Reily, Ann Coulture, or other right wingers will say the most blatently false things; why doesn’t anyone press legal slander or libel cases against them? Or do they?
If I call BillO and ask him to point me to the quote, will I still get the pony? This is serious. I’ve never had a pony and like Lisa Simpson, I’ve always wanted one.
For bloggers there’s no such thing as a bad hit. Thanks fathead.

Chances are the vast majority of those who watch him either don’t have computers, or are lost as soon as they turn on the power. Navigating the Web is very hard for many in the bracket who watch BillO religiously, so they take his claims about Web content as being Gospel. Sad, really.
In his humble opinion?
He contains not an ounce of humility.

What Billo doesn’t understand is that people who want REAL news don’t look to TV.
On the other hand, he probably DOES understand this but chooses to use this reduced viewership to support his deceptive analyses.
The power this man wields! He makes a suggestion and America goes into high gear taking up his cause. Or so he thinks! With his poor ratings and quality of his viewers – guys in their underwear eating Cheetos – he’s lucky he could find two legible emails from fans he could quote.
And who might have ‘posted’ this comment? The process of quibbling about comments is childish as ANYONE..including BillO himself can post on that site. There is absolutely nothing stopping some winger from posting outrageous crap at KOS then pointing to it from another vantage. NOTHING!
If it is Kos that has Billo’s ire than at least he might cite Kos’s words. Kos, a USA Military Veteran, has never advocated violence. NEVER. BillO, a man that did not serve in Vietnam and lacks the courage to tell us why, has always taken a vicious tone in his debates and…I think at one time advocated the destruction of a landmark building in San Fransisco: by terrorists!
Corporations have their very existence at the pleasure of the people. They are not our masters….we are their’s.
Once upon a time (a long time ago, I think 2001) BillO actually came off as thoughtful and intelligent but as the years passed, he became psychotic and loopy. When I compare the BillO of 2001 with the BillO of 2007 it makes me wonder if this is even the same guy.
Speaking of corporations O’Lielly…why not go after Wal-Mart and their Red China slave labor workforce.

BillO reminds me of one of those old southern baptist preachers. He tries to keep his flock intact by scaring them with wild accusations of what the “others” are doing.
Funny thing is that no one but the people who watch his show, Kos and us, even know about this little bs. The adverage person on the street knows nothing about this and cares even less.

O’Irrelevant has frequently smeared and deceived, he has often insulted and exaggerated, but this clip actually has me feeling sorry for him, in his state of insanity.
“Right-thinking Americans” are his audience…but THINKING Americans (70% of the citizenry) reject his nonsense. He may well be bright enough to see his own “professional” (I use the word generously) demise, as the folks turn away from the madness of the past 6 and a half years, and instead will expect and demand their nation adhere to its constitution.
So one of O’Liely’s goons logs into a blog site like Kos and types a blatantly ignorant stupid post, such as “violently overthrow the government”. They then screen cap it and put it on Faux News as a “typical” left wing post, and use it to scare companies into not advertising with “left wing” causes or they will be exposed.
The GOP blocks nearly everything in the Senate for the last 6 months, and then the major corporate media goes on and on about a “do nothing” congress.
Are you all as tired of the constant spin and marketing as I am? I think it is time to break up the big media companies for monopolistic behavior.
Why does his “Talking Points” segment always split the screen so that almost every word he reads off the teleprompter is also on the screen? Don’t they know that Bill’s audience is either illiterate or so far from the nursing home’s TV screen that they can’t make out the letters with their feeble eyesight.

If he just came out and said Kos was advocating the violent overthrow of the government he would get his ass sued and Faux News would have to pay out $$$ to Mr. Zuniga.

Um, how exactly did we get rid of our tyrannical British overlords back in the 1700s? Oh, right… violent overthrow. So, I believe there’s even something or other about this in our Constitution, tying into something about the right to bear arms. So BillO is anti-Second Amendment now? Fascinating.
Is there something inherently ignorant or stupid about violent overthrow of the government? If there is, we’ve pretty much invalidated ourselves as a country, as we were founded in precisely that fashion, and have carried out or assisted in countless violent overthrows of governments since then.

It appears the violent overthrow was achieved several years ago without DailyKos participation.
It’s still beyond me that no one has organized a fully fledged campaign to get this nutso off the air. It looks like it’s not only Congress that’s spineless, is it?
Rather than going after the Faux News sponsors, why not generate a list of BoRe’s sponsors and concentrate on them? The impact will be higher (and more to the point).

Bill-0 has just left the far far right and has entered a lone extremist partisanship that this country has never witness.
It’s still hard to believe that his mindless anti-American reich-wing views would actually consider Bill-O “fair and balanced”.
Why doesn’t anyone sue him for slander? That might shut him up and force him to make sure the garbage spewing forth from that ugly hole in his face is something that he can prove rather than pulling stories out of a hat just to slander those who don’t agree with him.
If he is allowed to get away with his brand of hate those who sit there and do nothing to force him to be accountable are just as guilty as he is!
