Since a president can, at their discretion, declassify anything they see fit via executive order, what's to stop the next president from declassifying and releasing ALL records from the current administration - Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, the whole lot.

I say we, the people, should ask, if not demand, that of the next president.

I like the cartoon, Yeah Jr. History WILL be your judge, but you wont like what the outcome is. I think in his stupid way the idiot is under the impression that only the winners get to write the history, I would love to point out to the know-nothing that it is actually historians who write history, and they don't always take the winners word for it. The best curse I could ever lay on this clown would be for him to live a really, really, really long time, long enough for him to see what final judgment history will lay upon him and the colossal failure he calls a life.

Sadly the same people that will honor GWB's legacy are the same people who use 'The Flintstones' as their base for science. Of course all the people with more than 3 brain cells will know better.

One of Bush's first acts as President was to remove the official papers of the Reagan Administration from the National Archive, and they have not seen the light of day since. What makes us think that there will be any legal way to get White House documents from this petty dictator? What makes us think that the rubber stamp Congress has anything but the interest of their respective parties in mind when they supposedly speak for us? The only thing we can do is to remove every seating congressman and replace them with someone that will speak for us. And you know how we do that? We do it by taking over the control of the two parties national organizations, away from the good old, do it our way or the highway, stooges that have helped to destroy our country.
