Jason Jones: The first lady. We’ve looked to her for moral guidance. We have looked at her as our nation’s mother. But the one thing we have never done, is looked at her.

That Dolly Madison was a saucy vixen
Lots mo betta than Jackie K, IMHO.
Who is this “we” that haven’t looked at her like that ?
The GOP ?
That’s because they’re pre-occupied ……….In the mens room.
I’m up for adoption if Kucinich wins.
Could I have those minutes of my life back after watching such a lame, childish and insulting interview?
Mrs. Kucinich, MMMMMMmmmmm.
And she married him for what reason?
But I go back to Roselyn. She was okay as a FLILF. (SNL actually did some bit on her being hot, back in the day. Made me look at her in a whole nother way. Don’t need a sketch to appreciate MRS. Kucinich. What a vibe, even with this moronic Jason Jones, who I completely envy right now).
And now comes the part where I apologize, realizing that this isn’t one of “those” internet sites.
John @ 2:
Hmmm, I thought Jackie was pretty hott!
I think she’s a good sport for appearing on this bit.
Mmmmmmm…. FLILF
GURLGE!!!
Jones is the Chevy Chase of TDS.
Why is this clip here?
Doug @ 5:
the fact that it is brought to you by Comedy Central should’ve clued you in. :)
See? I’m normally a fan of the Daily Show and anybody who knows me will tell you that I’m no prude but I didn’t smile even once during that bit. Men actually find that crap funny?
Margaret @ 12:
What about Jackie O?
man, she is a knockout
It’s cringe comedy, Margaret. Not everybody likes it.
I actually cringed while imaging being in the guy’s shoes. You want to stop watching, but a train wreck is happening and I just couldn’t turn away.
Otherwise, that’s the first time I ever saw more than a photo of the woman. And she’s hard not to watch for completely different reasons. You’ve got to admit, she exudes sex appeal. And yes, she actually has a brain, I see. She must be quite something in real life.
I’m with Margaret–I tend to avoid Jones’ stuff because it always gives me the irrational urge to bitch-slap the overgrown fratboy.
Unfortunately, Art. II, sec. 5 of the Constitution says that the First Lady must have been born in this country. Sorry Ms. K.
Margaret @ 12:
Not when I’m watching the show with my wife.
cubiclegrrl @ 17:
That’s just it! It’s like that srtupid MTV show “Jackass”. How can anybody over 13 find any redeeming value in that guy?
I thought the interview was pretty stupid too. But America is ready and more importantly needs her husband Dennis! If this helped get a few more people interested in his campaign then great. Mrs. Kucinich is definitly attractive but lets get back to the issues and not worry about spouses now.
Okay I just watched the clip and now I find it highly offensive and sexist and stupid.
I’m surprised Elizabeth let herself be degraded in that way.
What would Bubba be called after Hillary wins?
Often.
Unfortunately the country had better be prepared for a FGILF,…First Gentleman I’d Like to,..meh you get the picture,..
Oh, I fully agree about Kucinich and I don’t care what his wife looks like. It’s Jason Jones humor that I find incomprehensible.
Margaret @ 12:
On behalf of the undifferentiated homogeneous mass that is my gender, yes.
Jeri Kehn Thompson’s the hottie in this race. Period. She makes my tongue hard.
>If this helped get a few more people interested in his campaign then great.
Wow.
Margaret @ 20:
Oh, I see. This is hard to do. Using the word ‘Redeeming’ and ‘Men Find it Funny’, in the same sentence.
“The only redeeming value that Jason Jones exhibits, is that men find him funny.”
No, I’m clearly not getting it.
And ‘Jackass’ is just stupid.
The point of the Jason Jones humor is that we get to laugh at ourselves and not feel so bad that we’re men. We don’t have to be robots. We can have inappropriate feelings and not be evil.
What a stupid statement. There have been many beautiful First Ladies. Jaqueline Kennedy comes to mind immediately. Laura Bush is also gorgeous, but George wouldn’t let her out in public. He didn’t want to be upstaged. She could have been a real trend-setter. This Jason guy must be a juvenile if he thinks we’ve never seen the First Lady as a fox.
I’m with Margaret. Kucinich all the way, it doesn’t hurt that his wife is intelligent and attractive, but Jone’s humor (if you can call it that) is moronic.
Piren @ 31:
Of course it is.
Take one any day over the FLILB we have today.
Doug @ 5:
Here’s a quarter, buy a sense of humor.
kaT @ 30:
Laura Bush? The tubby in the bad pantsuits? Please.
Jones is an ass. The whole bit is stupid. Sexist. Dumb. But that doesn’t change the fact that Mrs. Kucinich is still a babe.
And did Scarborough really say that? What an ass.
kaT @ 30:
You think Botox Betty is attractive?
Geez, I thought I was sick being secretly attracted to Margaret Dumont.
POLL SHOWS INDEPENDENT VOTERS MAY ‘FLILF-FLOP’
cristalyn @ 22:
Well said. Apparently the point of this mindless clip was to objectify women and to ignore the fact that Mrs. Kucinich has a brain and can think and analyze problems. I heard her and her husband speak a few months ago and it was obvious that this woman was and is highly intelligent. Another example of the dumbing-down of the American media.
Bit NOLA @ 16:
Hell yeah ………………..
I’d eat the corn out of her crap
And I don’t even like corn.
If I knew what FLILF meant maybe I could answer the question. :(
Weaseldog @ 11:
Well said. Some of us enjoy a sense of humor. The fact that a candidate’s wife (and the candidate, in an earlier episode) can go on a show like Colbert’s and have a fun and interesting interview should be considered a good thing. If you don’t enjoy some not-so-subtle comedy, then don’t watch Colbert.
ysbaddaden @ 37:
She had class. And a stove…
cristalyn @ 22:
Shouldn’t you be baking cookies?
I’m kidding. But jesus, lighten up people, it’s a comedy show. Should we all just sit around and fret about politics all day or laugh once in a while? I choose to laugh on occasion.
Erroll @ 39:
You are over analyzing this. I promise.
IgnoranceIsNotBliss @ 41:
First Lady I’d Like to [Make Love To]
Weaseldog at 29,
Nicely done. Kinda fits your name. Weasely and doggy and true.
ysbaddaden @ 37:
I’ll see your Margaret Dumont and raise you a Carol Cleveland.
ysbaddaden @ 23:
Very funny!
Regarding Jason Jones, I guess I’m in the minority here — I find him consistently hilarious. You guys realize he’s *playing* a dumb guy, right?
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh Well how-de-do! My my my…
So Dennis Kucinich has decided to bolster his candidacy by trotting out the little lady. Granted the ‘little lady’ is three feet taller than Mr. Kucinich… but one can never have too much of a good thing. But is America ready to have a leggy, green-eyed vixen in the White House? Placing her at ease in my hot tub, I will proceed to examine the qualifications of the erstwhile Mrs. Kucinich to be First Lady… conduct a thorough inspection of her poise and personal attributes, probe her positions on various issues, and attempt to lay bare her innermost secrets. *scuffle* What!? WHAT!? I’m only preparing for the upcoming erec… I mean elections! *scuffle*
kaT @ 30:
Laura Shrub is “gorgeous” ?
Yeah , if you’re into mannequins …………
Rep. Squeezy McFeelpants @ 50:
That lady wouldn’t keep you for a cat …….
Greg @ 44:
I do have a sense of humor but as a feminist I found it tasteless. I just don’t like how he totally objectified her as a sex object and then when she was talking we couldn’t hear a thing she was saying. That is suggesting that she isn’t meant to be heard, just looked at–which is more than a little misogynistic, joke or not. It would have been funnier if he had actually allowed her to speak instead of having her on the show just to look pretty and clueless.
