Fuck! The brownshirts make their first appearance!
Holy crap!

I would say holy shit, but I saw that expletives were deleted below.
jesus. the psychos are coming out for this campaign….
The Edwards campaign in Chapel Hill has had at least 3 evacuations–I think 2 for white powder sent in envelopes & 1 bomb scare.
The guy has a bomb. ****.
This ain’t good at all…
Not really surprising, but still kind of sad. When Senator Clinton is sworn in next January, the USSS may have to triple her protection.
can’t wait to see the wingnuts spin on this. . .
This will get Ghouliani’s immoral and illegal activities off the front page
So assuming they take this guy alive, think he’ll be charged as a terrorist?
uncle wally @ 11:
i’m thinking they will accuse HRC of planting the terrorist to gain sympathy?
uncle wally @ 11:
Let me guess: that she arranged it?
So much for “fighting them over there…”
uncle wally @ 11:
funny you should say that, over at Malkins site (I googled the news and got her site) they are pretty civil. A hell of a lot better than we are being! I post here, am a liberal nutcase, and the “goons” at Malkin’s site are making us look bad.
Of course this is early and they may get nutty after the “perp” is shown on TV, but so far “we” are the crazies.
Thanks.
Site Monitor: She’s editing like mad. We’ve got screen grabs. But we’re also going to take down all inappropriate posts, per John’s request.
“It’s Clinton’s Fault”
~Foxnews.com
Is he a criminal or a terrorist? I wonder if he will go to guantanamo
Not good. Hope everyone gets out in one piece.
Then again…Welcome to the Hillary Clinton Presidency. Like what you see?
Bob @ 19:
Of course they’re playing it civil - that’s straight from page of the right-wing smear machine playbook. Keep your mouth shut until AFTER the sheeit hits the fan - and THEN swiftboat ‘em!
Just be patient - the RW cranks will emit their foul stench soon.
I just hope it ends without violence.
I am waiting to hear from Rush Limbaugh or CNN that the perpetrator is a Muslim extremist from the Obama campaign office.
I woke up at 4am and clicked on to HuffPo in a sleepy daze. The two top stories were ‘Hostage Situation At Hillary Campaign Office’ and ‘O’Reilly To Debate Alf’. I decided I needed more sleep.
This is way over the top! Someone must have misread Rove’s ‘It’s time to take care of Clinton’ memo.
liberalNmoderation @ 24:
That would be nice.
Taser stocks soar on news, film at 11.
Commander Ogg @ 10:
You could probably say this about any sane, reason-grounded, non-far rightwing president elect. The wingnut-o-shere, everyday further revealed to be the Republican Party, is ever escalating the hate rhetoric. And, like any addictive drug, it takes more and more to keep getting the same high.
The wingnut kook has a bombed strapped and two hostages.
Everyone’s just assuming that it’s a Republican sympathizer? That’s pretty shallow.
It could be a disaffected employee, someone who favors a Dem opponent, an Al Qaeda terrorist, someone who didn’t take their medication and is having a meltdown, or any number of possibilities.
The leap to blame the political opposition is dishonorable in a case like this.
Johnny2Bad @ 22:
This will be the wingnut spin.
Some one set us up the bomb. All your HQ are belong to us.
Bud @ 23:
Oops, my bad, here is post #18 from her site ”
FYI: CNN.COM has a live feed.
Hell, Clinton will get blamed for this, too.
Someone is very afraid she’s going to be the next President, and they can’t have that.
now thats what i call a loyal bushy
Bob @ 36:
And we have a winner!
Anyone who put $5 down on ‘18 minutes’ - congratulations! ;)
I have money on a domestic dispute not wingnuts.
A few things:
1) This may take some time off Guiliani’s troubles, like one poster had mentioned, but I trust that Keith Olbermann will NOT spend the next year and a half-discussing this the way the other news networks did with Natalee Halloway, Anna Nicole, etc, etc.
2) The right-wing Bush worshippers who are all too happy to give away our freedoms in the name of Bush’s oil profits are the lowest common denominator among all Americans. Buncha Nazi-esque sympathizers who hate freedom.
3) I hope no one gets hurt. Period.
4) The GOP is officially pathetic.
crazy times we’re living in
Simple fall-out from the “you’re either with us or against us” political strategy. Expect much more of this.
organmeat @ 34:
Uh, no…That’s the reality. Even if he were the frontrunner, the nutjobs aren’t going to rush Chris Dodd’s offices. Can you say “Lightning Rod”?
I guess we’ll never figure it out:
Don’t name your Teddy Bear Mohammed in the Sudan and don’t nominate Hillary in Ameikkka.
What kind of bump with this give her. Kidding, actually a scary situation, hope everyone makes it through this unscathed.

I see that CNN’s latest news is “who will be 2008’s Willie Horton?”
Is there a contest I didn’t know about?
Will it be televised?
Geo @ 33:
Could be, but in most cases of your domestic terrorism, it tends to be the radical right. After all, liberalism tends to be more accepting, and therefore less violent that your average conservative. And lets not forget what happened to a certain Israeli Prime Minister who actually was on the verge of getting a peace treaty working, got shot down and murdered by israeli right wing fanatics.
jr @ 44:
Yep…and a woman or african amercian getting the nomination may make it crazier.
Johnny2Bad @ 46:
The wingnut spin will be, this is what you will get with a Hillary presidency.
Speculation on this is premature. We know nothing about the perpetrator, for all we know this is a romance gone wrong or some other personal problem.
Anything we speculate is just projection of our fears.
Let’s all just hope for the best for the hostages and the law enforcement personnel.
organmeat @ 54:
Or even better the spin will be, this is what you get with a Democratic Presidency.
Andy @ 52:
Only for the small-minded… only for those afraid of change…
Bob @ 18:
So shocking that after 7 years of “Bush the Uniter” and his cell of propagandists that some people on this site are sarcastic and pissed off. You do skirt on an important point though: it is important to stay positive and creative. The neocons will be replaced in due course and whoever it is must have positive supporters.
Call me jaded, or I’ve seen too many movies, but is this like planting questions at debates?
bah!
i’m done….apparenlty everyone has lost their sense of humor….
Geo @ 33:
This just in…a previously unknown fringe group calling themselves “Ninjas for Richardson” have claimed responsiblity. Film at eleven.
Jeez.
Travis Pickle ?
