Keeping track of all the Bush administration scandals so we don't have to, today's edition of Bushed! recounts recent events regarding Habeas Corpus, Christie Todd Whitman's statements on the safety of the air surrounding Ground Zero after 9/11 and President Bush's continued ignoring of the intelligence from the NIE report on Iran.

We've been Bushed alright.
People obviously have to learn the hard way the ol' saying goes.
Pherst?
crap.
OUTING A CIA AGENT IN TIME OF WAR IS TREASON AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Call Nancy Pelosi @1-202-225-0100 and DEMAND IMPEACHMENT. (call often, tell your friends, spread it around)
This last year and a half can't go by fast enough. Bush can still do a lot more damage in that time.
There are still over 365 oportunities for bush to create more scandals, we have seen about one every-other day, but the shrub seems to be kicking it into high gear now to do as much damage as he can before he is out of office. (I don't even see him doing that gracefully.)
What do others in the world think of the U.S.? My neighbor here in Thailand thinks the people must be so afraid because they seem to be doing nothing..
At least boosh hasn't got any blowjobs
Or has he...

And that's not counting any blow he's inhaled.
does laura do any beating around the bush?
Don't worry. All the Worlds problems have just been solved.
Jessica Alba's rep just announced she is pregnant.
Impeach Nancy Pelosi.
bushed with dem enablers
K.O. u rock!
This is the kind of thing that mainstream media should do all the time. It can help prevent things from going down the proverbial memory hole.
Oh my oh my who said the MIC Ike warned us about isn't forward thinking?
WASHINGTON - The Pentagon plans to spend about $10 billion more than originally estimated on base closings and realignments and expects about $200 million less in savings, the Government Accountability Office said in a report Tuesday.
The GAO said the Defense Department expects to spend $31 billion to implement the Base Closing and Realignment Commission's recommendations and predicted net annual savings of $4 billion.
Also, it will take until 2017 for the Defense Department to recover upfront costs, four years longer than the base closing commission predicted.
Phew boy tensions are rising. Thanks Bush! Thanks a lot!
Russia orders British Council to shut down operations.
Russia walks away from CFE arms treaty.
Good News Right? Bushenomics. What can you say?
The Fed is preparing to pour whatever gasoline they can on the stock market to prevent a meltdown.
President Bush’s continued ignoring of the intelligence from the NIE report on Iran.
Which is a nice match for Congress' continued ignoring of their Constitutional duties!

Catch you later. Hopefully, maybe.
L.A. Confidential @ 14:
How much would you like to bet that most if not all of the closings will be in democratic states?
Assuming this criminal gang actually leaves our WH in 09, they will leave with all evidence against them destroyed and probably a deal with the Democrats that they will do nothing to hold anyone accountable and that just isn't good enough. The rest of the world no longer trust us and sees us as a rogue nation. There must be accountability. Maybe impeachment should start where this nightmare started, on the Supreme Court and anyone left that allowed this to happen to our country should be removed.
ysbaddaden @ 7:
"It's becoming apparent that the Republicans' issue with Clinton's dick is that Monica was getting it, and not them." Saw this quote on the www.AirAmerica.com home page. Funny & probably true.
terry740 @ 19:
And the Democratic states will bear the tax burden for paying this farce off. You forgot that.
L.A. Confidential @ 9:
Dammit ! Just one more thing Bushco will blame on us liberals.
Well if things get to desperate just remember World War 2 pulled us out of the Depression.
Now that thought is depressing.
L.A. Confidential @ 15:
And a minor detail to you lot maybe,
yesterday norwegian oil companies had to stop all helicopter flights to a large number of offshore platforms, as the russian navy heading for the mediterranean were doing flight exercises around our oil installations.
Lovely.
Orangutan. @ 21:
Hmmm. Birds of a feather .
terry740 @ 26:
Actually I always thought it was retaliation, butt not just for Watergate. It was frusterated men after the Packwood hearings and all the legislation making almost any act in the worksite between sexes litigious.
One man's smile is another man's leer
One man's appreciative gaze is another man's stare
A woman could complain after just one invitation she wasn't open for, but a man didn't know what she was open for until he already asked and it was too late and she could derail his career.
Of course making jobs, raises and promotions contingent on sex acts should always have been verboten.
I like KO as much as the next person..but...there's nothing funny about this crap.
Six years of obstruction of justice, six years of abuse of power (signing statements), six years of nepotism, glad handing, outright bribes, lies and deceit.
Any one of them impeachable offenses...and here we sit.
Norse @ 25:
Putin has completely purged Russia of the Western Oil Players. With Yeltsin you could buy him off with a Fifth of Jack but Putin is a whole new game.
L.A. Confidential @ 29:
With Putin, you'd have to get a BowFlex. Or some free weights.
miss_kitty @ 30:
Funny. The truth is Putin can't be bought. Or intimidated I might add.
L.A. Confidential @ 31:
But Bushie looked into his eyes and saw his soul and they were the same .
terry740 @ 32:
Yeah good old Prez Boosh. The All Seer. Mr. Dynamic.
What is overlooked in all this discussion is the real reason this NIE was so inconveniently (for the administration) released. Bush and Co. have simply run out of lunatics to fill top executive posts.
terry740 @ 32:
Oh...so the President admitted that he is a fascist dictator.
They're not so bad then? One team of bloggers could never keep up with all the scandals and cock-ups and human righytrs violations involving the British Government
Ian Thorpe @ 36:
Up what?
I love this new segment
Yup, yup. Cheney, Bush and everyone of their cronies should have dragged away in irons and their worthless, criminal asses thrown into the deepest darkest prison there is a LONG time ago. Makes you wonder what evil forces are truly running our country.
We can make everything right by electing Ron Paul for President and by making sure Bush and Cheny get the death penalty for treason, mass murder, lying about talking to God. You get the pitcher, to make this happen, we need to get MSM to tell the truth again.
here's a very usefull resource for tracking the plethora of lies told regarding the path to the war in Iraq.
Lie by Lie: The Mother Jones Iraq War Timeline
Are y'all trying to pose boosh like this guy?

Unfortunately, this segment truly is needed. I believe nothing has stuck to Bush and Cheney due to the shear number of these scandals. No one can keep one of these things in front of them long enough to dig deep enough to get the brass ring. Day after day a larger and worse scandal, or possible scandal, crops up that demands our attention. Each new one demands investigation because with this bunch who knows what you'll find once you turn over the rock. The only thing that keeps me going is that they will keep having hearings after these criminals leave office and a significant number of them will go to jail. They'll go to jail because hopefully this country will elect a Democrat President and these felons won't have the get out of jail card at their disposal. I know the Democrats aren't perfect but at least they're a tad better than this bunch of hoodlums.
Rove gave Bush this mantra,
'Four fu*k-ups a day keeps impeachment away'.
('They'll never be able to keep track, and if they do, there isn't a democratic committee in the world that could ever agree on how many and which ones to charge you with')
Death Star @ 40:
No you can't. What you obviously missed is that the congress and Supreme court are complicit. Just having the presidency will not change the problem. If Ron Paul becomes president watch how fast the other two parts of government stop rolling over and remember what kind of power they have. Also, I don't want Bush and Cheney dead. I want them prosecuted, humiliated, and on toilet patrol for all those injured soldiers I want their family assets seized and put into the treasury (of course, I want this from all of them ... including Pelosi).
Can anyone tell me why the supreme court isn't elected ? How the hell did they get chosen for life?
SGT Blackson:
The Supreme Court is "for life" so they don't have to play politics to be assured they have a job tomorrow. Imagine the fiasco with the firings of the attorneys taken to the Supreme Court. Basically, you would have a Gonzalez in every seat (unquestioning yes men).
Summary of the firings: http://www.c-span.org/special/attorneys.asp
Not the scandal per se, just an example of why separate branches of government with clear boundaries are necessary.
more examples of domestic terrorism by the Bush administration
And what do you think of Obadiah Shoher's arguments against the peace process ( samsonblinded.org/blog/we-need-a-respite-from-peace.htm )?
