ThinkProgress noted recently that Karl Rove was anxious to cash in on his White House service with a major book deal.

Former White House adviser Karl Rove is “shopping a memoir in an auction that will kick off today and likely result in a seven-figure payday. How much Rove’s memoir will go for is still unclear, but one publisher predicted $3 million.

The auction for Karl Rove's memoir drags on a month after the Republican strategist made the rounds of publishers with Washington power lawyer Robert Barnett at his side.
