Who *does* Maureen Dowd like? I've yet to find anyone.
Just asking.
What's the big deal about 'purging' voters?
They only purge the ones that are going to vote the 'Wrong Way'.
I'm a married Democrat woman. Is Mo jealous?
She used to be fun to read but then she wrote her second book. I believe it was called "Are men really necessary?" Strange title too. Then she got some air time and face time as she did her book tour. At that point she seemed to believe she was a hotter writer than she really is. Then her writing changed and she began to make her regular readers like myself uncomfortable. She jumped the oped shark, not just with her snarkiness but her meanness too.
It's okay if she doesn't like me, I'm not very fond of her either.
There is nothing to like about the film 'Charlie Wilson's War', if it lies about the main point of George Crile's book, that the US was largely responsible for instigating the chain of events that lead to 9/11, and the 'War on Terrists'.
This relates to the link to The Angry Black Woman's post. I'm willing to bet a large bottle of wonderful Sapphire gin that McCain will be the Republican nominee next November. :)
Maureen loves me !
Let's hope Hillary poisoned those bagels & Dowd is the only one to eat them.
I think it's safe to say at minimum the threat of the 60's era Nixon Style Impeachment or Vietnam War Protests has been neutered.
It's just not happening.
Why does the press have such a burr up their ass about Hillary? Seems to me some of them need an emergency burr-ectomy.
On a funny note, the spell checker here told me "ectomy" is not a word and one of the suggested correction words was "rectum".
pissed off patricia @ 9:
A better question may be why do the people who work in the press these days say yes sir, no sir, whatever you want me to say sir. Is this alright sir, does it get your approval sir? Can I get you some coffee sir? Can I shine your shoes sir?
The message at the Inside Iraq link is heartbreaking. The comments are worth reading too. If you read them start from bottom to top, that's the order in which they were made.
Thanks for the link, most of all to the Melissa Roddy piece you linked as well. That answers some questions I had.
I agree with POP, some of those posts at Inside Iraq were pretty gut-wrenching.
kudos to Brad Friedman for always speaking truth to power. Please donate or click the ads on his site
