Bush Determined To Strike In Iran

The Wall Street Journal ran an article last week (subscription req’d) that Bush was using an investigation into a 1994 terrorist attack on a Jewish Community Center in Argentina as a way to continue to strain and maintain pressure on Iran.

The only problem? There’s no real evidence that Iran was involved in the bombing:

(I)t is impossible to avoid the conclusion that the case against Iran over the AMIA bombing has been driven from the beginning by US enmity toward Iran, not by a desire to find the real perpetrators.

Evidence? We don’t need no stinkin’ evidence. Nobody could anticipate the president initiating a pre-emptive war against a sovereign nation on trumped up evidence, could they? Oh…wait…

even if iran was responsible for a “terrorist attack on a Jewish Community Center in Argentina”, what the fuck does that have to do with us?

only a true war zealot and war criminal would try to turn a 13 year old incident, with no american connection, into a casus belli.

not to mention, if this is all bush the criminal has, then they don’t have shit. this reminds me of the run-up operation iraqi liberation (OIL).

I don’t think they’ll mind that much because there won’t be much left of this country to take over.

Just thought you should know that we have been contacted at our blog-site near Houston and several residents have informed us that Half-Empty, a blog of the “Democrats Club” in Fort Bend County and avid Ron Reynolds supporter has been on a mission since September to run-down Dora Olivo (D) TX HD 27. These voters told us that the HE site has been blocking posts meant to defend representative Olivo. Apparently halfempty and a very influential family of bloggers in that community are responsible for this censorship.

I just thought this hypocrisy should be pointed out and the fact that their candidate does take money from some HillCo PAC (Perry Homes) political recipients that are supporting Reynolds. They also continue to attack another TPA progressive blogger for just pointing out the truth about their candidate and his civil case and admissions to the TX bar association.

Very disingenuous, if you ask me. Please look into this if you can.

Yeah, but this would also fuel those in the blogosphere, who cry that the US is actually run by Israel.

Personally, I can’t see Bush getting a war going with Iran. Too much exposure over the lies in the run up to Iraq, and a crumbling approval rating. Even his own party would balk at this, I think.

KiQ-Arg Says:

Oh… this isn’t new. I’m from Argentina and I’m really ashamed that my gobernment bowed before this as%&ole and began to accuse Iran of the attacks.

This is something that was orchestrated by the Argentinian Jewish community (and this is true. They are putting pressure on our gobernment, because they want us now to declare Iran as an enemy… yeah right, let’s accuse an entire country of something that was made by terrorists. And what do you think? this serves to Mr. Bush purposes… what a coincidence…

Mr. Bush thinks he can use an attack where 85 argentinians were killed, to attack a country that has nothing to do with the attacks (there is no evidence against Iran)… Bush, is indeed a great great man, ruinning the lives of so many people around the world… how many people could’ve been helped with the billions spent of war? And now he will be using the death of argentinian citizens to try (again) to attack Iran…

I guess he’s running out of ideas.

Not without a fight. They aren’t going to give up power easily.

I think we’ve been close to a “false flag” incident that would have meant a strike against Iran but was found out and that was the bombs found on the wings of that airplane a few weeks ago. I don’t know who was the intended target, Iran, Isreal or us, but I firmly believe those bombs were not put there by mistake.

This is lunacy, it has been lunacy for the past 7 years, and now we are all paying for it. This mad man and the rest of the hitleresque neocons will not be happy until they have started yet a third war in the middle east!!!! Their madness for world domination must come to an end NOW!!!!

The single minded madness of the neocons has ruined this country from within and without. Our economy is shot to hell, we are LOSING, that is LOSING two wars in the middle east, and we have lost our credibility with the entire world. Cheney and Bush must be stopped!!!! It is time for congress to go after them with everything that they’ve got!!! If there is any hope of saving this country, these madmen must be stopped.

He has to travel all the way back to 1994 to prove that Iran is dangerous today? I thought it was all about their having or making or knowing how to make nukes today. Condi better put the muzzle on him before he kills again.

Thanks, Nancy, you traitor.

Exactly. It is too bad there is no functional democracy in the USA. People can’t vote because there is no real difference between the candidates. They represent economic interests. Just look how issues are avoided in an election. What is talked about is “personal qualification”, like is he black enough, experienced enough,… What does someone like Barack Obama really want? Change! yeah, nice slogan, that’s all it is. Even he does not rule out war with Iran. Pathetic.

Now it seems like a race between Mccain and Hillary. He wants to stay forever in Iraq, doesn’t give a shit about what the iraqis think about it. She is a former board member of Wallmart, the minimum wage, no health insurance, chinese slave labor company. She represents the elite, NAFTA and so on. There is no real difference between them.

If Hillary gets 8 years as president, then the USA have been ruled by two families for the last 28 years + 8 years of Bush I as vice president. You have

1980-1988 Bush I (VP)
1988-1992 Bush I
1992-2000 Clinton I
2000-2008 Bush II
2008-2016 Clinton II (?)

Iran is like Cuba. They hate Iran, cuz hey, they installed a dictator and the peasants overthrew the murderous thug. How dare those peasants not listen to the mighty US. Why still at them now? Why not? They have no deterrent, like say, a nukular weapon to stop the beast from stalking them. It’s a make believe world they’ve invented. Iran is no more dangerous than New Orleans after a hurricane. It sure is obvious that US governments speak “MidEast peace” out one side of their mouths, and incite wars with the other while supplying arms to each and every “terrist” regime. The ONLY nation in the MidEast that could be deemed a threat to anyone, anywhere, would be Israel, but theyz our buddies. Chaching!!!!!

You can be damn well guaranteed that if Iran is not weak, the US will not attack. The US throughout history has NEVER attacked anyone that could fight back, at least not on their own.

Does bush really think he can just fly over, bomb the hell out of Iran and nothing will happen after that? How about all of our troops just over the Iran border in Iraq? Does he think the Iranian military won’t take action against our troops there? Does he care?
