Which is another way of saying she really, really hates John McCain, suddenly the Über Liberal in the race to be President. All of which amused Alan Colmes immensely. I’m not sure what Senator Clinton would make of the proceedings or Coulter’s endorsement.

She wasn’t endorsing Hillary; she was bashing McCain among conservatives by saying even Hillary would be better than him.
This is terrible! Coulter’s evil genius shows through. By endorsing Clinton over McCain, she gains influence in McCain’s campaign while creating a crisis for those of us who want to vote for Clinton but can’t possible vote THE SAME WAY as Anne Coulter!
I mean…if you vote like the devil, you are like the devil. If the friend of my friend is my enemy…wait, now I’m confused. Anyway, I think Coulter is cruel. She’s making sure that many of us independent voters, and others who might consider McCain if he somehow regained his sanity–she’s making the idea of voting for Clinton (and thus, voting WITH Coulter) so repulsive that we might sway to McCain…her real candidate.
Her endorsement is an election-sized albatross around Clinton’s neck now. If there’s a God, he just turned his back on Hillary–there’s no way God would side with Coulter. (sigh…we’re screwed….McCain’s gonna win…)

It is Obama that neocons will fight the hardest against (and have been) for completely ideological reasons. Their survival depends on having the Clintons in the White House as well.

Coulter’s “endorsement” may be along the lines of the right thinking that Hillary as nominee would be easier for a Republican to beat in the general.

McCain is the best candidate for the GOP (which, honestly, is quite depressing for them). There’s really no one else. All the “saviours” of the GOP (Giuliani, Thompson) have bitten the dust and have flamed out terribly. McCain is it, Coulter. You don’t have a choice, bitch.

Yeah, talk about suspicion of ulterior motives. She writes 2 pathetically awful and reality-challenged books bashing the Clintons and liberals in general (before shifting to the latter 24/7/365), and we’re supposed to believe she hates Hillary LESS than McCain? No, she’s happy because she’ll be able to (possibly) give the repugs 4-8 more years of supposedly funny liberals-are-subhuman-trash “satirical” publication. In short, it guarantees her a paycheck.
But that’s if I believed she really truly wanted to endorse HRC. What this really is is an attempt to shift the focus so that Hillary gets picked instead of Obama, because they know no matter who they put up, Obama will annihilate because he can orate. HRC can’t do that, on top of already being Satan incarnate to the right (which HRC of course never deserved). AC gets to continue her own self-loathing in her mind by putting a woman up for election that will, again in her mind, supposedly get trounced.
