Of course the right wing noise machine and their shills in the MSM are just getting started. If there is one thing that the MSM stands for it's the status quo. Pundits, newsreaders and bloviators will do all in their power to promote St. McCain at the expense of the Democratic nominee. By November they will have many of the public believing that a vote for Obama is either a vote for Osama or Willie Horton.
Well at least it doesn't look like a boy-scout meeting, sans clothes.
I don't understand how that is going to hurt him. White males in America are now a minority. Women have never been known (most) for being outrageously racist, and there is a huge population of nonwhites now. If anything, this will help him, not hurt him.
I am watching this with humorous fascination, because this type of electioneering would never happen in Canada.

I work with a Republican who said he would not be going to FoxNews.com any longer because of the 1) their article on the turban picture, and 2) the incredibly ignorant and racist comments posted on the site, which made him realize he didn't want to be associated with their other visitors.

Forgive me for going off topic but I may be off the computer any minute. According to the local tv channel, Miami and all of Dade county is without power. Broward county is without power as is much of Palm Beach County. and part of the county I live in is without power here in Florida. Seems there is some major problem and Florida Power and Light doesn't know yet what has happened. I'm not thinking terror, I'm thinking overload. Our weather here today is in the 80's.

I must confess that I originally was a Hillary supporter because I didn't think Obama had a chance(although I believed him to be the best overall candidate) and I knew the avalanche of bigotry would be mind boggling. After the Clinton Show in South Carolina, I changed my allegiance to Obama. This Presidential election will embarrassingly expose the U.S. as the world leader in the practice of institutionalized racism.
I personally would much rather have an inaugural ball with some African tribes, than the hillbilly redneck extravaganza that W treated us to the last two inaugurations.
Correction: it's not "going to get" ugly. It's already ugly.
