Mother of god, this is horrible. We nominate to the patheon of homo hate Oklahoma State Rep. Sally Kern (sallykern@okhouse.gov). She didn’t know that she was being recorded in a meeting, so we get the a nice insight about what she thinks of her gay and lesbian constituents. Perhaps she doesn’t think she has any.
About 30 seconds into this homobigoted, fact-free, BS screed, Rep. Kern actually says how she doesn’t hate gays (of course not!), then proceeds to continue on her tirade of filth.
I don’t think you need to guess which party Kern belongs to. This is a woman who sits on the Education Committee in the OK legislature. She’s also a member of Mother Schlafly’s Eagle Forum. Read on…

Oklahoma seems to have a lot of biblical literalist flat-earthers.
I think someone should start a blog (not me) that keeps a log of Republican Congressional leaders bigoted remarks. In the past week Rep Steve King has made racial remarks and now this AND that is just one week. Just a place where anyone could see the comments. Over the years I can remember some, such as Trent Lott’s statement. What happens is they say this crap and in a few days or weeks it is forgotten.
Whenever they protest toooo much one has to wonder………?
How does anybody go about their lives carrying around all of that hate and ignorance? Unfortunately, it is out there among us. It is scary that she ever got close to children in the public school system. I’ve never seen a 2 year old in school. Must be something new. How do you teach 2 year old children to hate homosexuals? I am sick of all the ignorance that is paraded around as truth.
They’ll erect a statue in her honor in Oklahoma … a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil it. Then they’ll all go home and fire up the gay porn and masturbate. Those, that is, who don’t go to the local park restroom to blow a guy for real.
No, not all of them will do that. The rest will just beat their wives and/or kids. Then they’ll get up on Sunday and go to church where they will be all smiles and Norman Rockwell … and Jesus will weep.

If she and her ilk believe that this is what the majority of her constituents and the majority of the American public also believes, then why does she only say it when she thinks she is in a closed situation that will not leak out to the press and be reported to the general public? In all honesty I’m really not shocked at all by her words because she sounds exactly like typical Christian TV. If this is at all upsetting, please, please, spend sometime watching the 24/7 hate of Christian TV. If nothing else, please find time to tune in Mr. Hate Himself…. John Hagee. He really is the ass-pimple on the pumpkin. I’m not homosexual but I’ve lived in Oklahoma most of my adult life. I’m a little bit educated but not as “highly” as this and most of these freaks will claim to be. I am well traveled and well read. Sitting her, listening to that, jaw-dropped, thinking “Thats what insanity sounds like”. Then as it went on, I began to feel bad (around when she made the comment about a local school board being taken over and controlled by gays, sounding like dialog from a bad 50’s horror movie) because I suddenly thought how terrible it must be to live in fear like that. Constantly afraid that everything you think of as healthy, clean and holy, is under attack by the forces of evil. Then it struck me how clearly fear is the root driving force of all conservative ideology. So sad.
People like her never cease to amaze me. Downright sad and pathetic. I hope her god slaps her upside the head and reminds her that all humans are God’s children. Love thy neighbor, but only if they are exactly like you?

As a member of the military, I wonder if the DoD has any plans in place for rooting out the gay where it exists and torturing the lower level gay for information on where the highest level of gay hides. After all, since homosexuality is a bigger threat than terrorism, we need to have a Global War on Gay, or GWOG. Then we could have our soldiers drive around San Francisco and wait until a parade goes off instead of the current policy of driving around Baghdad and waiting until an IED goes off.
