Four more years of this and were finished. McCain is not capable of getting statments right, let alone run this country. His aggression against Iran is frightening. I hope the people get it right this time.
Any American who votes for McCain should be forced to register all of their present and future children for the armed forces. You want endless war? You better supply the troops.

I think the 8 needs to be rotated 90 degrees. A 100 years war is the typical lib's small thinking. They want ``the forever war'' (and I don't mean the books by Joe Haldeman.)

When driving around town I now and then see a Humvee and have to physically resist running them off the road. Every once in a while I see one with a W-04 sticker on the back bumper and it is that much harder. I am not sure will be able to control myself if McCain is the next president and I see one with a McCain sticker on the bumper.
Over the past two days, the fawning American media has provided rave reviews of John McCain's visit to France. While the New York Times lauded "McCain's soothing tones," Time gushed about "McCain's Paris romance" and the transformation of Franco-American relations made possible by his warm embrace of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. But lost in these accounts is John McCain's vitriolic France-bashing in the run-up to the war in Iraq. Back in 2003, John McCain stood shoulder to shoulder with the Paris-hating purveyors of "freedom fries" and "old Europe."
That is so perfect. If you enjoyed the past eight, you're gonna have a blast with the next four if McCain is in the oval office.
Just the thought of that nightmare scares the hell out of me. God, what are the American people thinking who say they will vote for him? What is he offering them that they actually want? Hopefully some repubs who say they will vote for him will have a change of heart when they are alone in that voting booth.

Hopefully those idiot "Americans" that want McLame as president don't mind paying 6+ dollars/gallon for gas, higher food prices, lower wages, an even weaker dollar, 4 more years of a recession, and additional failures in Iraqnam.

(Fade up on John McCain sitting casually on the top of a desk that could pass for the Oval Office desk. The top button of his shirt is unbuttoned, his tie is very loosely tied, as if he's been working all night on ways to keep our nation safer [stop giggling]. Sleeves are rolled up. Jacket is nowhere in sight. A dozen crucifixes are scattered throughout the room; yet, they are not ostentatiously so).
Hello. I'm John McCain, and if I am elected president, things will quickly go from bad to worse. I don't know from economics, businessmen easily intimidate me, and I don't know what the hell's going on in Iraq. My hot temper's gonna get me in so much trouble, if trouble were a stock, I'd tell you to buy it. I essentially am promising you another 4 to 8 years of the same Bush policies that have ruined our nation's reputation, devalued the dollar to where blank paper is worth more, and created untold numbers of new and angrier terrorists. You know it. I know it. The media knows it, but God love him, throw a barbeque rib down their cake hole, they'll sing your praises like it's Karaoke night at the Hilton.
So why should you vote for me?
That's easy: I'm dependable.
You see, you not only know THAT I'm going to screw things up, you pretty much know HOW I'm gonna screw things up. You see, that way, you can take precautions, like bracing yourself before the car crashes into the wall. Nothing like jamming your legs on the floor, tightening up every nerve in your body and letting you spine do all the work in cushioning the blow.
THAT'S what I promise you.
Now, Hillary & Barack, they're good kids, they mean well, but they're flighty & unpredictable. Sure, they might figure out ways to cure our nation of all its ills, but if they don't, we won't know HOW they'll screw up so we won't be able to prepare for it.
Now what would you rather have: A good old fashioned RELIABLE DEPENDABLE eff up? Or a chance for peace and prosperity that might backfire?
Yeah, I thought so.
So vote for me. John McCain. *I'M* the Devil you know. NOT the Devil you don't.

amen to that, when i still see a "W" sticker, i want to pull over and smack the shit out of that driver!
I will not wonder if other Arabian country like Iran plan to arm themselves. If we Americans are gungho in protecting our liberty and freedom so are the people of this countries. They had the right to bear arm and protect their freedom in their own country too. I'm guessing none of them wants to suffer the same fate as Iraq. So why don't we vote for another repugnant and lets see how many countries will start arming themselves against us. Shall we. I WOULD NOT WANT ANOTHER REPUBLICAN ASSHOLE TO BE PRESIDENT AND ISOLATE US AND HAVE THE WORLD BE ANNOYED BY US. THE REPUGNANTS IS ACTUALLY PUTTING US MORE IN DANGER BY MULTIPLYING OUR ENEMIES,
BECAUSE OF THEIR ARROGANT BONEHEADNESS.

I like to think I'm doing my part to help the environment. Like the other day, I saw this dude driving around in a big Hummer, so you know - I flipped him off. =)
You people are giving American voters much too much credit. There are many ignorant Republicans and Independents, throw in some "Reagan Democrats" that will vote for this senile numbnut. They have been pumped with fear of muslims and people like Lieberman who have Israels interests in mind. There are some "educated" people who will not vote for Obama because he's black. This is a sorry fact in 2008. The American public has been brainwashed the past 27 years starting with Raygun and it continues today. If McSame is elected, we are in serious trouble. He will in my opinion not hesitate to attack Iran or any other country that challenges Americas military complex. He would make up an excuse like Bush to attack, this guy is nuts in my opinion.
Every McCain supporter I've talked to, knows nothing at all about him. They just know that they hate Democrats.
They start off explaining that he's anti-war and anti-torture. When I tell them about his speeches and voting record, they tell me that they just like him. They don't need to know anything about him.

you are right !democrats will allways be rasing your taxes, giveing your tax money to blacks on welfare, takeing away your guns, being soft on terriorists , are surrender monkeys, thats only a little of what the repigs believe , and mccains not bush so they can vote for him with a clear reasonimg!!! sorry due to my sorry upbring i couldnt spell concious so i left it out!!!!!!!!!!!
My mother in law said she would never vote for a Democrat. Her reason, "There a bunch of liberals". People of her generation have been taught this crap for years by the so-called old guard Repugs. But the good news is that on state levels they are diminshing. No money, no more prestige. Good riddance!
i think the story of obama's pastor will be forgotten. american's have an attention span of about 10 seconds. what the dems must do, is show the picture of mccain hugging bush, with the caption saying, do you really want this man running the country? and show it everyday. all day until election day.
Well, perhaps all three remaining Presidential candidates would like to take a crack at this part of the equation:
A Walmart employee was hit by a semi, leaving her permanently brain-damaged and in a wheelchair. Walmart paid for her medical fees and her family successfully sued the trucking company. Now Walmart wants all the money she got from the trucking company. The family only has Social Security benefits and medicaid to pay for her 24 hour medical care. The company health plan contains a clause that allows it to recoup medical expenses it paid if the person also wins damages in an injury suit.

A little ot but I'm all excited. UPS just delivered my Obama-08 sweatshirt. Great quality and it's made in America too. Plus the campaign turned a used UPS mailing plastic container inside out, put a label on it and reused it for mailing my shirt to me. They recycled that mailing container. Cool! And smart too.

How about pictures of Hagee and Parsley. Why don't the Dems fight back. Oh, I forgot, Hillary and Barack are too busy fighting each other. Also, Dems don't have FOX news.
Your right redcat. The medias obsession with the story backfired. People realize corporate media is giving McCain a free pass. Right now the Sitution Room is going on and on about Hillary and Obama. People are getting disgusted. What about Chaney's snarky "NO.' Or the fact that when asked about the 4000 death toll he had the balls to say," They Volunteered". Do you think Wolfie will talk about that?
I got a pop up ad at this site yesterday and one earlier today. Now the site loads real slow sometimes and other times it's faster than a speeding bullet. Just as long as it loads, that's the important thing.
My husband was talking on the phone yesterday to his elderly very religious mother. He asked her did she know who she wanted to vote for. She answered, McCain. He asked her would she consider voting for Obama. She said no, because "Obama has never done anything". My husband could have talked until he was blue in the face, this lady will vote for McCain no matter what.
It's just so sad when people like this lady simply follow party lines and never actually think for themselves.

Walmart Pays For Brain Damaged Employee's Medical Bills, Then Sues For The Money Back
JACKSON, Mo. -- A collision with a semi-trailer truck seven years ago left 52-year-old Deborah Shank permanently brain-damaged and in a wheelchair. Her husband, Jim, and three sons found a small source of solace: a $700,000 accident settlement from the trucking company involved. After legal fees and other expenses, the remaining $417,000 was put in a special trust. It was to be used for Mrs. Shank's care.
Instead, all of it is now slated to go to Mrs. Shank's former employer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Two years ago, the retail giant's health plan sued the Shanks for the $470,000 it had spent on her medical care. A federal judge ruled last year in Wal-Mart's favor, backed by an appeals-court decision in August. Now, her family has to rely on Medicaid and Mrs. Shank's social-security payments to keep up her round-the-clock care.
OK...try it this time.....Somebody should ask all three remaining candidates just WHAT they are going to do about crap like this. This is beyond disgusting.

Thats what I am talking about. Cheney saying "so" to 4000 people being killed and the cowardly media does nothing. WHAT CAN BE WORSE THAN THAT. OH, I FORGOT, REV. WRIGHT. Not all but Americans can be soooooo stupid. The FOX republicans are using race to have you fight amount yourselves. CAN'T YOU SEE THAT!!!!!
one thing cheney knows nothing about is volunteering. when he had an opportunity as a young person to serve his country in combat he choose to cut and run. but do you think anybody in the media will ever ask him about that? certainly not russert, because he also cut and ran.

I saw that story and the lady on tv. Bless her heart she's got major mental and medical problems. I think I understood the reporter to say one of this lady's sons was killed in the war...but I'm not sure about that. Whatever way he was killed, she can't remember it and each time she's told of it, it's like the first time she's heard it and cries like she did the first time she was told.

Yep, I watched the video on ABC News online. Somebody has to fight that one. Jeebus. The media will only carry the story once, then off to the trashbin of history and on to the next big headline.
This is why I would not go into a Walmart even if you held a gun to my head. I detest everything they stand for. Yesterday most everything was closed here due to it being Easter Sunday. Not Super Walmart and guess what? Their feakin' parking lot was full of cars.

"Alone in the booth". Yep. Crazy stuff happens when you're alone in the booth. More likely, if Obama is the nominee, the "change of heart" will come from independents who just can't pull the lever for the black guy. Waaaay more likely.

Walmart does not have the kind of health insurance(underwritten by an Insurance Co.)
but is "self-insured" under an employer/employee plan...Under a typical health insurance
policy issued and underwritten by an insurance co., this kind of subrogation would not
be permitted(i.e., seeking repayment/recovery if suit by insured is involved), however
under the self-insured ERISA plans, apparently a provision is included allowing the
employer to seek reimbursement for "out of pocket" expenses. The plans all three
candidates are talking about are "Insurance plans" not "self-insured" plans, so as far
as I know, all three are proposing coverage that would NOT permit reimbrusement in
a case like this.
This is how F'ed up Republicons are. I have several very Conservative friends on my street. They are all screaming about how they cant afford to pay for gasoline at the pump and heating oil for their homes. They tell me that the govt. needs to step in and help them. These are the same idiots who insult poor people on welfare and socialized medicine all their lives. These are the same numbnuts who continue to vote for Bush and McCain and they blame govt. when they get squeezed, but F everyone else. I tried to tell them that its 99% Bushes fault with this Iraq war costs and deregulation that have caused this Financial crisis and they keep telling me that its the Democratic Congress that brought on this mess. These people are hopeless!

By the way, ERISA(Employee Retirement Income Security Act) as enacted, as I recall
in 1974 by "our" Congress and it's purpose was to permit larger corporations and some
mid-sized ones to purchase health insurance for their employees..Supposedly to "help"
the employer and employee reduce the costs(premiums) under what would customarilly
be paid under a normal "health insurance program". It has had a multitude of problems
since enacted...not covering certain things generally covered and other "federally

So you rather be in a war with Iran? Amazing.
Republicans lust for war. Leading up to the Iraq war, the MSM war pundits were lamenting that this generation hasn't seen a world war. They waxed poetic of the glories that a war with many millions of dead would bring them. they love war and the slaughter of human beings. It gives them meaning that they don't have in day to day life.

And one more, final comment as to ERISA plans...They are NOT subject to the regulations of any of the State Insurance Commissions; but are under Fed. regulation.
That in and of it's self might explain why such self insured plans are soooo screwed up.

It has had a multitude of problems
since enacted...not covering certain things generally covered and other "federally
approved" exceptions/exclusions.-
Well thank you for the information. Odd insurance plan. So what you are saying is that none of the remaining candidates would even touch this?
I am unaware and/or unsure if any of them have indepth knowledge of ERISA plans, but
hopefully, whichever nominee is elected, he/she will become educated and take a look at the 1974 Act and seriously consider justifiable amendments thereto.

Remember, no one suffers more than Bush and Laura. They've suffered more than a child screaming with her legs blown off. They've suffered more than a mother who has watched her children gunned down. They've suffered mare than any American family that has had to bury their child, or take in their brain damaged son who can't clothe himself anymore.
Bush and Laura have suffered so terribly, that I cannot comprehend the hell they live in, or how they can still laugh and dance over the graves of the fallen.

Iraq...100 more years!
Polls show that lotsa fine Americans agree. Just gotta love it.
Great Logo! Here's another Winning Slogan for the Democrats!
Four more years of this and were finished. McCain is not capable of getting statments right, let alone run this country. His aggression against Iran is frightening. I hope the people get it right this time.
ouch!
Any American who votes for McCain should be forced to register all of their present and future children for the armed forces. You want endless war? You better supply the troops.
Hell's yea, now thats what I'm talkin bout!

For the details, see:
"Fawning Media Ignore McCain's Past France-Bashing."
But you some right-wing neotard is probably going to take this seriously...
... right, Chris?

Anyone that is stupid enough to vote for McLame is putting their perverse party ahead of this country. That's a simple fact.

He would make up an excuse like Bush to attack, this guy is nuts in my opinion.
in fact, i rarely see the support the troops ribbons.

i think the story of obama's pastor will be forgotten. american's have an attention span of about 10 seconds. what the dems must do, is show the picture of mccain hugging bush, with the caption saying, do you really want this man running the country? and show it everyday. all day until election day.
Well, perhaps all three remaining Presidential candidates would like to take a crack at this part of the equation:

Grrrrrrrrrrrr...........third time is a charm.........no link is going to be given this time:
