Media Bloodhound watched this presser and Dana Perino’s assertion that Bush mourn every military loss and asked “Really?”
And how was our mourner-in-chief spending his day as our four thousandth soldier took one last breath in the sands of Iraq? Goofing around the White House and posing for pictures with a six-foot-tall Easter Bunny. No, really.

Like that line about how Bush feels every loss, from the first one a few years ago to “those who sacrificed” recently. Everyone is more than well aware that heterosexual (and bisexual too I suppose) males, and maybe even lesbians, find Perino physically attractive. It really detracts from anything else we might say in these threads to constantly talk about how much we “wouldn’t mind” “Doin’ things” to her. Some people find Paris Hilton physically attractive too (not me), but that doesn’t change the fact that she is a vacuous, talentless, waste of DNA, just like Perino.

How many lies did Perino manage to include in that press briefing? Al Qaeda didn’t exist in Iraq until after we invaded. But they remain a small percentage of the fighters in Iraq. The main fighting is between US forces and various factions, primarily nationalists versus regionalists fighting for political power in the vacuum we created. It’s the US presence that is the primary cause for the violence. There was no sectarian fighting before we invaded.

We’re supposed to be liberals. We are built upon forgiveness and that people deserve a second chance.
However, I’m glad you finally pointed this out. More times than often there are those that frequent these forums (boards, blogs, whatever) and immediately put down a group, a person, by demonizing them. The exact same thing that conservatives and republicans love to do on a daily basis.
We’re better than this. We don’t have to demonize her or anyone (or thing). We can point out the falicies of their arguements without making it personal.
I’ll make you a deal… If people will rise above the fray and quit the demonization, I’ll quit talking about the yumminess of Perino. Until then, you’re just going to have to endure my crap, as I’ve endured others, without making an issue of it (well… at least until now).
