Think of all the loss we and our soldiers and our countrymen have suffered since Bush got into office. I hope somehow we can rectify what has happened for the lasteight years. Vote Obama.
Who cares anymore? What happened to the hunt for Osama Bin Laden and the U.S. Military Grade Anthrax Terrorist in this Global War of Terror in Iraq? Oh!
Two old men die naturally and 13 young men die unnaturally, and the the headline is about the old men?
Something is wrong with the humanity of these people.
I hate war. The loss in this one is so unfathomable because it was so unnecessary. I will always despise what Bush and his administration has done to the innocents and to the military who went because they wanted to honor their country. And they do honor their country.
It's not just the loss of life though that is bad enough. When I see the list every week and see how young so many of them were, all I can think about is how much has our society as a whole lost? What kinds of contributions would those young men and women have made in the future if they hadn't died for Bush's war? Could one of them have discovered a cure for a disease? Made a difference as a public servant? But we'll never know, will we?
And Cheney says, "So?"
This can't be easy to post every week.4407.

Almost all of us can agree that supporting the troops means sending them back home, and not being killed in such an endless war/occupation, right?...Supporting our troops is only an empty slogan when you send them to Iraq to sooner or later be killed senselessly by insurgents and the Bush "policy".
What is a "troop member?" Who are "the troops?' How much more impersonal can we get about the service men and women who are dying? They are not "troops." They are soldiers, sailors, air men and women, and Marines. For chrissake, let's get it right. OK?
