i just read the transcript of her interview with couric at the cbs web site. pretty amazing stuff. she has no content at all in her head. just slogans and few of those. she promised katie she would try to find some examples of mcbush pushing for regulation of banks and such over the last twenty six years...sounds like something an 8th grader who didn't do her homework would day.

If Bush had really wanted to rescue the securities market, he could have taken one for the team, gone on TV tonight and said I quit. I'm buggering off back to Crawford. If y'all need any bills signed, just give 'em to Barney. He'll fix ya up. I guarantee the Dow would have jumped 1000 points on the opening bell.
But this wasn't a prediction, it was a threat. If the Fed doesn't get their money, they're going to pull the same shit as in 1907 and 1929. There WILL be a recession, a bad one. Not because there needs to be, but because they will make it so, as easily as they guided this decade's shakedown via the real estate bubble/bust. (No really, Greenspan never saw it coming...) And it will be a lesson to not defy the true rulers of the country again when they demand money. Enjoy.
Obama's right. We have to make this happen from the bottom up, but that does not require a $700 billion dollar bailout. Those at the top created the problem, get rid of them first.

I visited Norway once, can I be ambassador to Norway? I've actually been to Russia, China, most countries in Europe and parts of Asia and Africa. Hell, I could be the ambassador to the UN. Of course I actually know where those countries and continents are so I'm probably over-qualified. Seriously, I think Edvard Munch would be shrieking if he knew this embarrassment was being offered up to the world as a head of state.
I loved the Letterman bit tonight when he took McSame to the verbal woodshed for not even having his "second string quarterback" come in for the interview. What, is Caribou Barbie going to the Senate to pass legislation? Or maybe she'll just threaten to shoot a few "librul wolf-loving abortionist" to get them in line with the program.
First make the officers of the failed companies surrender their ill-gotten gains to the American people.
Then give the home owners a way to acquire debt relief and renegotiated mortgages.
Let the full FBI investigations into the crimes of the predatory lenders and financial instutions be made public.
Next pass meaningul reforms on the financial and mortgage industry.
When all of that is done then we can talk about saving the sorry excuse that is Wall Street.

they had that three-page outline ready for three months. so you know it's just timing.
This is incredible. I'm watching the Palin / Couric interview again, and this woman has just been trained to spit out these memorized answers to anticipated questions LIKE A PARROT! (Beautiful plumage on the Norwegian Blue.)
Couric asked her two questions about Rick Davis, and she spat out the same answer almost VERBATIM! People don't do that by accident. They've been coaching her around the clock with a set of flash cards and a couple of boxes of SALTINES.
Palin: “My understanding is Rick Davis recused himself from the dealings in that firm, I don’t know how long, a year or two ago, and that he’s not benefiting from that and, you know, I would hope that that’s the case.”
Couric: “But still has a stake in the company, so isn’t that a conflict of interest?”
Palin: “Again, my understanding is that he recused himself from the dealings with Freddy and Fanny, any lobbying efforts on his part there, and I would hope that that’s the case…”

Why not fit Palin with a mic in her ear? It worked with Bush. She wears glasses, it would be easy to put a microphone in the earpiece.
We were talking the other night about her always wearing her hair up in some fashion and if she has it down during the debates, she will have an earpiece.

Sept. 23: Addressing the U.N. General Assembly for the last time in office, President Bush calls for the world community to stand together against terrorism, and in support of freedom.
That truly makes me weep for my country.
But, I did laugh when they had that shot of Condi sitting there during the speech with her hands clasped and her face looking rather pensive.

I read that earlier today. Nice..who cares, it's only a few thou from every living person in America into their fucking pockets.
and no domestic budget for years.
And domestic spending is the only thing that will get us out of this. Roads, bridges, real work with real living wages. Gov't is going to have to invest in green energy to start jobs. The government is going to have to do something...with no credit, business cannot expand or start.

I was researching the connection and it's appalling. We are getting screwed big time.
Someone wanna move in with me? I may need a boarder or five soon.
McCain wants a "timeout." Gee, I used to want a timeout from the game when I was losing, too. When I was a kid!!!
Next thing you know, McCain is gonna want a "do-over" too.
MsJoanne @ 39:
LOL! It still wouldn't help me to grow that much but I'll work with what I can get.
MsJoanne @ 26:
LOL! With so many babies - maybe it's time to play who's your daddy...
LibertyLover @ 44:
To go with his comb-over?
Pericles @ 18:
i'm listening to the UN speech. it is fucking hilarious. "ttteeeeerrrrrraaaaaahhhhh" "iiiisssssssssllllllllaaaaammmmm!!!!" "extremists" "bla bla bla bla bla bla"
WAFATB!
whatafuckingassholetittybaby!!
MsJoanne @ 43:
Me, me.
Ron @ 45:
that chainey will screw anyone at any time for any reason.

MsJoanne @ 43:
they had that three-page outline ready for three months. so you know it's just timing.
Ron @ 45:
LMAO!
Couric: "Okay."
Palin: "F@ck you! Where's my CRACKER?"

The Bush Economy (poem)
I was walking
down the isle
of the grocery store
and I heard
a little boy
ask his mother,
"Mommy,
can we buy
dog food
with
food stamps?"
Pericles @ 56:
she has a worse memory than a parrot.
Why not fit Palin with a mic in her ear? It worked with Bush. She wears glasses, it would be easy to put a microphone in the earpiece.
Ron @ 50:
Come on down, shugah, we'll eat dandelion stew every day and like it. Maybe we can eat the grass next time it's mowed as a bonus.
L.A. Confidential @ 52:
Link? I heard that before but didn't find it.
McCain/Puppet '08!
saw her on the curric interview, palin
is definitely a low educated moron.
she does not recognize what a question is
less being asked the same question and then
having an answer that states she will look for
some answers and get back to curric.
this woman could not keep her own daughter
from getting pregnant with her abstinence only
home schooling. why would we trust her
with the Nation's security or economic future.
FUCK MCCAIN FOR BEING SO STUPID AND SELFISH.
MsJoanne @ 58:
me too! there are mor syllables in that passage than in any of Pali's interviews.
CoIntelPro for Pronktastic Victory Over SCLM, DIEBOLD, ESS and SEQUOIA! @ 54:
I read that earlier today. Nice..who cares, it's only a few thou from every living person in America into their fucking pockets.
MsJoanne @ 62:
I'll mow it everyday.

I'm thinking American soldiers won't go along with a Bush junta attempt.
Blackwater's guys would. Weren't they patrolling NewOrleans, yes, Galvaston too?
Pericles @ 56:
Yup...blather, rinse, repeat. I caught that, too. It was appalling.
Pericles @ 56:
If only she would "join the choir invisible" we'd all be better off. Thanks, the MP reference was just what I needed after getting all worked about about this flim-flam artist.
dadams @ 65:
Plain wasn't even his decision! can you see him as president, pouting and huffing and lying and telling the world to stop so he can get his talking points together?
MsJoanne @ 67:
and no domestic budget for years.
Kathy @ 61:
We were talking the other night about her always wearing her hair up in some fashion and if she has it down during the debates, she will have an earpiece.

But, I did laugh when they had that shot of Condi sitting there during the speech with her hands clasped and her face looking rather pensive.
Bushes little $700 Billion going away present.

And domestic spending is the only thing that will get us out of this. Roads, bridges, real work with real living wages. Gov't is going to have to invest in green energy to start jobs. The government is going to have to do something...with no credit, business cannot expand or start.
Say goodbye to any kind of fucking healthcare.
We're fucked.
