I kept hearing,'This is the end...', (you know that Doors song) in my head the more I saw

Sen. McCain trying to be funny/tough/clever/nasty. It's over dude.

I need some help locating a clip. Post debate, a smarmy McCain motor-mouth was being flippant and told Chris Matthews something like, "I know what you're thinking." Tweety took offense and said, "If you're a mind-reader, then I'll just sit here you you can tell me what my next question's going to be." Dead silence. Funny as hell! Worth nothing that the McCain aide was talking super fast and kept sniffling. Totally made him come across like a cokehead.

McPussy didn't have the balls to face his opponent and spew that vile crap he and his whore have been trying to sell the last few days. Very telling, indeed.

Palin's face is on the cover of one of the weekly news magazines this week. I can't remember which one it is. Anyway, the people at fox are having a fit because the picture wasn't air brushed. They never said what they wanted brushed away but one lady did mention that not every woman waxes her upper lip every week. Now I'm curious as hell to see that cover at the newsstand.

Pop...upper lip?

Hopefully it wasn't a nudist magazine! LOLOL!

I'm SORRY...I couldnt resist!!!

You should have resisted. Have I taught you nothing over the years? ;)

Oh welllll....no lipstick on this pig either!

McSame... is just about done. Caribou Barbie isn't so funny anymore... especially when you imagine her actually trying to do the role she's up for. It's becoming increasingly obvious that she's not smart enough to be a governor either. What a tool!

As for McSame, it's true he's a coward. He'll let his campaign speak for him and call out all kinds of insults, but when in front of the person he's been slagging, well... he's just a sweet old man, isn't he?! Loser!!

I think it is definitely a possibility. Anyone seen Karl Rove recently? If he's hiding, he's scheming how to steal the election on November 4th.

Man...the gestapo tactics being used by the GOP against ACORN is fucked up...the GOP and their supporters have become absolutely UNAMERICAN in the last eight years...and they don't even realize it...they need to be educated.

The economy is Dead in the water. About as vital and alive as McCain was last night.

Enjoy your "paychecks" or whoever is flipping the bill while it's lasts.

Barack Obama in....
Diamonds, Daisies, Snowflakes,
That One
Chestnuts, Rainbows, Springtime...
Is That One
He's tinsel on a tree...
He's everything that every Dem should be!

Sable, Popcorn, White Wine,
That One
Gingham, Bluebirds, Broadway...
Is That One
He's mine alone, but luckily for you...
If you find a Dem to love,
Only one Dem to love,
Then he'll be That One too...
That One!
...with special guest star Sarah Palin as Angie, the love-starved but whacky Klanswoman!

turn on cnn. biden is speaking and kicking ass!

Looks like we might be going back to feudalism. Better get used to eating potatoes.

Poor John Cole is so pissed off that he cannot write using anything resembling english grammar:

"On the other hand, Obama, every time he landed a punch, it was something he has done above board, in public."

Or maybe that's his baseline level of intelligence.

Better get used to playing to empty halls and auditoriums Mike.

McNoBalls didn't mention Obama being "pals with the terrorists" last night because that pathetic coward knew he would have been eviscerated by Obama. Grandpa will go back to his Straight talk(bullshit lies) today I'm sure.

Ever since the announcement that McCain chose Palin for his running mate, I've had an increasing feeling of concern for the future of this country. All I can say is that I thank God and all those fighting against the "status quo" political machine that Obama is likely to win.

Although I have been a fan of Obama for a long time, I feared that our country wasn't ready to be progressive enough to choose him. I am happy to see that I may be wrong.

Lastly, I did want to make a statement about my great concern for the repeated attacks made towards Obama as being associated with terrorists or religious fanaticism..... The McCain campaign has gone from running a shameful campaign to being argueably responsible for encouraging fringe conservatives to break the law. When a campaign speech turns to people shouting "He's a terrorist." and "Kill him.", I become increasingly worried and disgusted. Such behavior puts Obama, members of his campaign, and his supporters in danger.

Statements like Palin and McCain make related to such explosive subjects don't change the minds of the average undecided voter. They only stir up the fringe groups who would be happy to see harm come to Obama, people like him, and quite honestly, people like me.

I feel that someone in politics and/or the media should make a statement strongly condemning this type of behavior and also going so far as to claim that the behavior is borderline criminal.

I know that the GOP is desperate, but must they put others in danger through absolute lies and distractions in a pointless attempt to gain votes? Their behavior is embarrassing to me. How can they be Americans and clearly hate Americans so much?

Sincerely...

Don't worry all the pro's and "experts" in the investment and economic arena are saying. . . . I have no idea where the economy is headed.

Very reassuring

Look...these guys are making it up as they go.

Bottom line...you now have the Federal Reserve lending directly to private companies....just as happened in the '30s.

Also, the Fed cut the Fed Funds rate to 1.5%...which is ridiculous. They are going to trash the dollar even worse.

This economy cannot recover without PAIN...real pain...and the question is...who will bear it.

From a simple economic perspective...this is what needs to happen.

1) Rates are too low. Interest rates at best should be held steady...but they actually should be higher. This will incent banks to lend, because then they can look at credit quallity and determine and receive an acceptable rate of return.

2) There will be continued contraction in real estate...both private and commercial. Bottom line...to much inventory...particularly in areas where it was just plain STUPID to build. Florida is overbuilt...much of the south is overbuilt...rural parts of NJ, NY and parts of New England and north are overbuilt. So, construction will stop. Now...this will lead contraction of jobs...contraction of wages...etc, etc. Sorry...those are facts...and its time Americans started acting like grownups and face facts.

3) Tax rates to middle Americans should be cut...to induce spending and also to put more money in people's pockets for necessities.

4) Tax rates on businesses MUST go up...the only question is how much. This will be to create revenue for government to provide services.

5) Provide tax cuts to businesses that create jobs IN America.

Now...the politics...conservatives will hate the above...but....know what...tough shit. Unemployment is not going to choose between political parties. Everyone is going to be impacted. REAL action needs to be taken...and not simply more deregulation...which created this problem in the first place.

We're going to have to be banged hard over the head.

People don't learn until extreme situations force them to ACT.

What it is that's going to excite, energize, and empower the United States populace in a positive way to get up and get going I have no idea at this point.

here's a wee mix up of McCain's ThatOne/KillHim troubles. Watch McCain's face. Not pretty times.

Was deported from Kenya yesterday.

Thats a drag. They should have locked him up but I don't blame them for not wanting that around stinking everything up and sending him back to the Homeland.

Nice Job Dubbya BOOSH! Let's just watch the market keep plunging. Thats the old way no don't try anything new and say We are closing the Markets for one week, the whole freaking planet is going to take a breather and we are going to fix this problem!

Thanks a lot *utherfu*!er!

Is it me, or does McCain give you the creeps, too?

Obama Victorious; McCain Stages Massive Creepout

No he put's me to sleep.

Before the end of the week (possibly today) the DOW will be in the eight thousands. Right now it is 9272 a dramatic decrease from 12,000.

It's not a meaningful measurement, only a depression stimulous.

Thousands of Troops Are Deployed on U.S. Streets Ready to Carry Out "Crowd Control"
http://www.alternet.org/story/101958/

John (Amato)....this deserves its own thread and much more attention.

Background: the First Brigade of the Third Infantry Division, three to four thousand soldiers, has been deployed in the United States as of October 1. Their stated mission is the form of crowd control they practiced in Iraq, subduing "unruly individuals," and the management of a national emergency. I am in Seattle and heard from the brother of one of the soldiers that they are engaged in exercises now. Amy Goodman reported that an Army spokesperson confirmed that they will have access to lethal and non lethal crowd control technologies and tanks.

George Bush struck down Posse Comitatus, thus making it legal for military to patrol the U.S.

This is really bad...bad, bad mojo...this needs to be visited and soon.

Questions: Why? Why 27 days before the election?
These are things that people wish they had noticed before something bad happens...

Can Corsi be indefinitely detained? Surely we can spare some foreign aid money for that!

From what I've read, he's already volunteered to leave the country. He entered the country on a tourist visa, when he should have gotten a business visa. Essentially, he entered the country on false pretenses and now he needs to leave. The Kenyan's are not going to allow him to paint them with his "Muslim terrorist" brush.

"Karthik Rajaram had fallen hard.

The 45-year-old Porter Ranch financial manager who once made more than $1.2 million in a London-based venture fund had lost his job. His luck playing the stock market ran out.

On Sept. 16, he bought a gun. He wrote two suicide notes and a last will and testament. And then, sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning, he killed his wife, mother-in-law and three sons, and took his own life."

When you click on the link, you will see that this is just a typical California family in a typical California home. Very sad.

Hullabaloo: They're getting their asses kicked. Time to start the 'ground game'

Does that 'ground game' entail convincing crazy people to go and assassinate key members of the DNC like what happened in Arkansas?
