Trump Cites Fox, Then Fox Cites Trump Citing Fox As Proof Of Innocence
May 14, 2024

During breaks with Donald Trump's criminal trial, the former President typically meets reporters off to the side to whine about how cold it is in the courtroom; then he reads snips of articles by people in his toxic right-wing media bubble. Monday was not a good day for Lumpy, so he read Fox News columns aloud as proof that he was innocent. Then, to prove that Trump is innocent, Fox News cited Trump reading Fox News columns.

It's like they're a tag team. Has anyone ever seen Fox News and Trump in the same room simultaneously? They might be the same!

"You know, former President Trump stood in the hallway there saying that all of these legal experts keep saying there's no crime there," a Fox News pundit said. "And I've been going through all of the reports, all of the editorials, all of the left-leaning news sources. I can't find a legal analyst out there who's actually explaining how a crime was committed."

We try to extend ourselves to help others here at C&L. So, let's help them out.

Trump was handed down a 34-count indictment charging him with falsifying business records over the hush money payment his now-former fixer, Michael Cohen, made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in order to aid him in winning the 2016 Presidential election. Presidential interference is another word for that.

"This is four weeks you're keeping me away from the campaign," Trump said during a break, even though he's been golfing and Mar-a-Lagoing on many of the days that he's free.
