I've been trying all day to come up with a way to write about 9/11 and how I felt in the days, weeks and years following, but every attempt was just so inadequate to the anguish and grief.

Then I remember the cathartic relief that watching The Daily Show brought, almost two weeks after walking around shellshocked, wondering when it would be all right to laugh again.
