First time FRIST!

What? Did they leave a room for Communism to be part of the fourth branch of government?

The founding fathers were naughty, didn’t trust their own wisdom.

3
William Wallace Says:

Cheney is right. He doesn’t work for one of the three branches of government. He works for corporate america like Haliburton. They pay him big bucks.

Anonola Says:

Thank goodness for Colbert!

Chuck Says:

Am I crazy for now suspecting that Dick Cheney himself was the sperm donor to his daughter…after all, who else would he trust?

I think the donor was Ann Coulter. You need the undead to breed the undead.

ashabot Says:

The only reason Cheney hasn’t had Bush assassinated so he could step into the presidency is that he has more power in shadows.

Liberal AND Proud Says:

I wish I had a fourth branch…so I could club dick cheney with it.

Ezzy Says:

Isn’t this similar to Hitler’s rise of the fourth reich wherein he started the 9/11? Oops!, I mean reichstag fire?

Folks, welcome to Hitler’s history reenactment in the White House.

Cheney is like a drop of mercury. He’s just slippery enough that he’s difficult to grab. How about we throw a net over him?

Colbert was excellent!

Just remember, it didn’t work out so well for the Germans in the long run.

How many Nazis escaped to Latin America and lived out their lives? Oh…and just where DID the Bush family recently purchase all that land? Hmmmm.

And to those who would suppose that because this time the Nazis are the USA, that we can’t lose…well…I think the Chinese have something to say about that.

And just what WAS the condition of Hamburg, Berlin and the rest of the German landscape when that little CONVENTIONAL war was over? Hmmm…how many Germans dead?

Ahhh…there’s lots of open space in America. Even if NY, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Washington, Miami, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas, Albuequerque, San Francisco, Charlotte, Portland, and a few others get nuked…oh well…we’ll only have maybe 100 to 150 million dead if we’re lucky.

Acceptable losses to the neocons. As long as we can get OUR nukes off and take out the enemy…well…then the elites just need to wait out 10 years in their bunkers. Or maybe they have technology we don’t know about. Aaah…just speculation…let’s stick to reality. Half of all U.S. cities destroyed, a quarter of the population dead another quarter maimed and probably dead within the year. Oh wellll. Guess we won’t have to worry about the Oil Peak anymore! LOL!. Or food shortages. Plenty of resources now!

Questions for next press conference…

Can I apply for a passport from Cheneystan?

Does a U.S. citizen need a visa to visit Cheneystan?

If I sneak across the border into Cheneystan, what will happen to me? Can I work, access healthcare or educational services?

13
Liberal AND Proud Says:

Make sure to visit the major cities!

Rumstown, Condibourg, St. Dobsonston, Gonzoville and of the course…the Capital. Bushcow.

I have a fourth branch for Dick.
It’s about 4 inches in diameter and
will fit rather nicely up his evil ASS.

Ahhhh, the Vice-President of the United States of America is intentionally failing to comply with an Executive Order to discuss classified documents with the National Archives, and instead, tried to disband the oversight committee, and used the excuse that “He, and his office, are not a part of the Executive Branch.” to free himself of all Constitutional checks and balances, despite the fact that Article 2 of the Constitution states that he shares the exact same Executive powers as the President himself.

File this one under “Executives making decisions that will be damned in the annals of history.”

The Champ is out.

I’m still waiting for Cheney to just finally snap and attempt to tell us mortals what the real deal is. Instant sound byte, and one would hope, instant impeachment.

Im a long time reader or all the great blogs like this one but rarely comment. I usually just quietly compose. But this new Cheney thing is just totally offensive. I was finally able to piece together a song to express my rage for these people. You can hear it at www.myspace.com/scienceforchildren

Theres no better comment I can make.

Been hearing about this for a few days now… I think it is a huge issue, so of course I expect it to get downplayed pretty shortly in the news…. I’ll say one thing about the issue and the VP and all his pr flacks ideas on fourth branches and not really being part of the executive branch.. like now, when it serves their needs to ignore or hide something… and at other times they litterally hid whatever they were up to behind the cloak of executive priveledge… due their being a VP and part of the executive branch of our government..

With twisted logic and hypocracy like I see almost daily out of these people, one thing is clear enough to me.. The entire lot of these cretins are definitely living in their own universe.. Their own separate reality… Probably if most of these asses we not in government and working for this pathetic excuse for a VP, they’d most likely be certifiable as mentally deranged and committable to an mental institution… I mean really given the excuses offered.. There appears to be a real disconnect from reality going on… With the biggest delusional loon being Cheney himself…

This is a man who has no business holding the kind of power he holds right this minute… Bush is at least as dangerous because of his cluelessness as much as anything else… This old fart is dangeorus because of his political and philosophical beliefs… A belief system that he bought into way early in life even before he wound up working for Nixon… It is a belief system that it anti-democratic and selfish in nature… A system first tried out on the American people with watergate and nurtured in back offices and rightwing think tanks ever since that first failure……..JD

How long has it been since the time when the Press was considered the fourth branch of the U.S. government? Seems like it’s been 30 years.

I actually find the corbert show offensive. I do not find someone pretending to be a republican funny. It is very annoying to me……

I find honest truth…direct…like the Jon Steward show or Countdown with Keith Oberman……..
