fish and flush

In honor of ABC News and their absolutely worthy-of-flushing questions in tonight's debate, may I present the fish tank toilet bowl from FishN'Flush, a.k.a. "the whimsical potty." Hey, is it too whimsical to name my fish Stephanopoulos and Gibson? (h/t LU)

Is it too whimsical to flush Stephanopoulos and Gibson?

Fuck ABC.They won`t let you say fuck on their comments. First?

Obamafans are upset that ABC didn't offer Obama a pillow!!

It's not ABC's fault that they asked questions he will actually have to answer if he is the nominee.

And we saw again how bad he is at debating.

Hillary rocked!!!!

"Hillary, as a former employee of your Husband when he held the office you are running for, would you mind if i asked you a tough question?"

"Fire away! Just don't be surprised if I pull out the AK-47 my Grand Pappy taught me to shoot back in Scranton, PA and blow your head off if it in any way challenges me!"

"Oh. Ok then. Mrs. Clinton, when was it exactly that you learned from Homeland Security that Senator Obama was a terrorist?"

I am 1/2 hour into the debate and they have asked the LAMEST questions...

NOTHING yet about the real issues.

The REPUGS must be so pleased they are not talking about how the administration have completely F'd it all up!

ABC should be ashamed!

Second.ABC`S debate tonight was a great example of soft core pore at its finest;ala Disney

What do the fish eat? Wait don't answer that.
Anyways, Hillary did a good job. I think Obama fans think he should have been drooled over. Give me a break! If you can't put up your A game get out of the way.

Also, Stephanopoulos loaths Clinton you could hear it in his whiney voice.

Only Hillary fans and reich-wingers care whether Obama wears a flag-pin.

ABC is a half notch above FOX News. A kindler, gentler propaganda arm of the GOP.

Forget ABC -- Springsteen Endorses Obama: ‘Barack Born to Run’

ABC's phone number (212) 456-7777

wow....what a lame ass bunch of moderators and questions.
It wasn't a debate, it was a tabloid show. So much for covering the important issues, let's talk about a flag pin. And I missed American Idol for this??

The mods and Hillary must have been trying out for jobs on Fox News. What a waste of time. I feel like a real sucker for tuning in!

Yes. It really sucks when Obama gets an itty-bitty taste of the Clinton Rules.

Too bad he got his ass kicked in this debate.

Did he? You and i must have refused to watch two different debates.

Blue gal, you are right, but how is that inappropriate given the light weight candidates in question? What is it, two and a half terms between them?

Did Sean Hannity or John McCain write the questions for this debate?

I mean seriously, that Weather Underground group questions seriously harms both candidates going into the Fall. You know the question is loaded when Barack pointed out that he couldn't associate with any of their members if Bill hadn't pardoned a couple of them and Hillary doesn't have a response. This was a great night for the Republican party because they spent the first hour ripping into each other about NOTHING.

If ABC didn't waste the first hour trying to create the news, then everyone wouldn't have missed the big story that Hillary may be more hawkish than McCain when it comes to military intervention in the Middle East.

Flag pins, that was the woman's question????!!!! Where the hell was her flag pin since she thinks they are mandatory attire? The economy is going to hell, gas is $4.00 a gallon in some places, and lest she forget there is an occupation going on right now and people are being killed, and she asks about flag pins and ABC actually uses the question. What a waste of time.

How in the hell can you perform well in a debate where you're asked to "prove that you're not a member of a sleeping terrorist cell because you don't wear a lapel pin every second or every day" and "what is Reverend Wright feeling this exact moment?" He is already going 3 (hillary, bill, chelsea) on 1 in the primary, why does he have to go 5 on 1 in the debate?

Sorry, no one is changing their vote based on this debate either way. If anything, Obama may have picked up a few more undecideds because he finally get to play the media's victim which he probably won't since he actually has that little thing called "class".

THANK YOU for stating the obvious about ABC's questions tonight.

I could sit though only 37 minutes of their God DAMNED gotcha questions.

Our country is going down the shit-hole, our debates have been hijacked by half-assed corporations like ABC, and important matters are prohibited from being discussed.

What a pathetic, sorry-ass country we live in.

Breaking up the corporate media monopolies is essential to our survival.

Well, over at AmericaBlog, they talked about how the blogosphere is saying how horrible the debate was. Notice that they did not reference C&L? That means C&L is doing something right.

Nothing is more flattering than to be ignored by AB.

When the debates were sponsored by the League of Women Voters, they at least had some substance, dignity and class. Now they're more like Jerry Springer Shows on Steroids. When the moderators become the focus, it's over.

This debate did NOTHING to help either candidate. Clinton supporters should not be taking a victory walk being that The Weather Underground group received pardons from Bill and Hillary's answer about protecting Israel sounds more hawkish than anything a neocon has ever said. Even Pat Buchanan said she will face a Constitution crisis if she tries to follow through on her broad promise of intervening militarily anywhere in the Middle East where one of our allies are in danger. Imagine if Bush actually had that type of authority to strike militarily where ever he wanted just to protect a ally?

The winner tonight was John McCain and the Republican Party.

It amazes me how anybody can scream with glee that Hillary won a "debate" moderated by an ex employee who asked irrelevant questions. Is this really your idea of making America better? If so are you sure the Democratic Party is for you?

After all, there is another party available. One that panders to the lowest sensibilities of the American Public as long as it is expedient and attains their goals. They are willing to destroy this country in order to save their portfolios and it is free to join, which is right up your alley. All you have to do in return is to give up your values, your Constitution and your rights. No need to stick with people who care and pretend that you do. There is a wealth of shallow rich people just aching to take you for all you are worth. Why wait?

i'm watching the debate now. to be perfectly frank, i was never in either one of the candidate's corners. However, obama has quietly surfaced as my candidate. Hillary is just too much of a politician. Neither one of them is bright enough, courageous enough or perhaps articulate enough to put these media whores in their place. i insulted my black lab puppy a bit ago when i compared his sniffing around for food to the media whores who mediate these debates and sniff around for something anything to fuel the fire. i apologized to lincoln, my puppy. they have been the real negatives for the past eight years, because bush and company did what they were divined to do, the media however has always held the precious responsibility of pointing out the truth. Sadly, our media sold out...completely. i equate them with joe lieberman, a traitor to the ideals of true journalism.

why do the candidates at this point allow these media whores to focus the debate not on the economy, not on the war, but on obama's preacher. we need iverson, "that was practice, not a real game, but practice."

I think Obama needs to talk to Rachel Maddow on how to explain this issue. In 2004, didn't the Republicans put that "ban on gay marriage" amendment on the ballots in most states because they thought it would be a close race and they wanted to increase turnout? Gay marriage is a religious issue. He didn't say religion was wrong. He was saying that politicians will exploit cultural and religious issues to earn votes when their policies and promises fall flat.

Most disgusting Debate in 25 years....If you want to call and complain about the FOX driven Debate and complain about George and Charlie's "skills", be Polite ( like Obama) but real....and HERE IS THE WORKING PHONE NUMBER AS OF 11:30PM....( I last tried at that time , Number from KOS and checked with NY friend)

ABC: ( leave a messege about the debate) 818-456-7477, press2, then press6, then press 639.....leave messege=30 sec.

If this stops working let me know at http://watergatesummer.blogspot.com/

Well, if one of them wins, I hope they take care of Charlie Gibson's tax problems.

He seems very worried about it.

I know newspaper endorsements usually don't matter, but I know from experience one that does with the locals and that's the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which endorsed Obama today. That was a shock for even this former Pittsburgher. The last paragraph says it all:

Pennsylvania -- this encrusted, change-averse commonwealth where a state liquor monopoly holds on against all reason and where municipal fiefdoms shrink from sensible consolidation -- needs to take a strong look at the new face and the new hope in this race. Because political business-as-usual is more likely to bring the usual disappointment for the Democrats this fall, the Post-Gazette endorses the nomination of Barack Obama, who has brought an excitement and an electricity to American politics not seen since the days of John F. Kennedy.

I'm absolutely outraged by this hit job masquerading as a debate! I'm all for tough questions that flesh out a candidate's views on a particular matter, but *&^%&%@ flag pins! A loose relationship with someone who has become a pillar of Chicago society? Reverend Wright? Bittergate?

50 minutes devoted to this nonsense before, as an afterthought, such secondary matters as Iraq and our economy began to be raised. Were George and Charlie channeling Hume and Hannity? That is the only question remaining to be asked.

OxyCon. Let's put this in perspective. When has Hillary been confronted with Whitewater, FBI-File gate, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, etc., etc during these debates? Because that would be the only parallel to the shit Obama confronted tonight. Obama comported himself just fine tonight, but I can not say the same for the media. Hillary, of course, seeing a political opening, picked up the knife dropped by Brutus and stabbed the corpse a few more times. I've never seen a more pathetic, grasping performance in my life. I will admit, that when Hillary turned from the GOP talking points about Obama to policy issues, she shined. But her performance overall is impacted by her ruthless, cynical political attacks.

I bet you really liked the part where Obama said HE never questioned Hillary's honesty, and Charlie Gibson immediately reminded him that his campaign does it all the time.

Newkindapolitics ftw!

Was I watching Faux Noise tonight? What a joke. Lapel pins , preachers and guns. No important issues discussed at all. What a joke.

Better get your lapel pin and your gun, because the Republicans will start shooting if they get swept out in November. Your latte will no longer protect you. You're gonna have to start shooting back.

Horrible waste of perfectly good bullets.

You can get 'em cheap at Wal-mart.

wow....what a lame ass bunch of moderators and questions.
It wasn't a debate, it was a tabloid show. So much for covering the important issues, let's talk about a flag pin. And I missed American Idol for this??

I didn't miss American Idol. The blonde chicky was voted off - Christy. After about 30 minutes of ABC's inane questioning I switched off. I peeked in during commercials and all I saw was love for McCain. Was he behind the camera?

It looks like poor Charlie is worried about having to pay taxes on his capital gains.

No shit, and since when do "most" people make 100K a year? Gibson epitomizes "out of touch" elitism.

Yeah, my investments aren't doing so good because I don't have any. Couldn't afford to invest.

Complaints about the Debate; Call ABC and leave a Messege:

PS:

For you slobbering followers of Hillzebub, you can bet your sour ass we're mad about the hit job done tonight! We have gas and food prices skyrocketing, our military can't even sit down for a breather without some Iraqi insurgent causing trouble, our infastructure is literally crumbling around us, and all we get are softball questions from George Snuffalupicus for Clinton and veiled accusations that Obama kidnapped Patty Hearst! Talk about being out of freaking touch!

It was as sickening a gang-up on Obama as that notorious beatdown video those teenage girls made last week. No one said that Obama knows all the answers, but this was a corporate media hit job that was meant to prolong the nomination agony for several more months of ratings, plain and simple.
