Rapidly rising gasoline prices are at an all-time high again. The average price for a gallon of gas shot up 12 cents in a week to a record $3.51 a gallon. That's because oil costs more than it ever has before. Crude oil set a record for the sixth straight day, closing above $117 a barrel, nearly twice as much as a year ago.

So the obvious solution is to support McCain's "Special Summer Tax Break for Exxon," right?

Update: This video was from earlier in the day. Crude oil set another record today, making it the seventh straight, closing at more than $119 barrel.
