She needs to have a little chat with the proper authorities and be removed from her 'duties' at Fox and anywhere else she may be employeed.
It appears that the host either didn't want to acknowledge what she had just said, or agrees with her.
Unfortunately, since this happened in a news cycle that has littl to no lifespan at all ( as do most stories that fall on long, holiday weekends ) this will most likely be forgotten by Tuesday.

Trotta's comment is reprehensible by any measure. If I'm not mistaken, presidential candidates are afforded Secret Service protection. If what amounts to a death threat is made against a candidate, isn't the Service REQUIRED to investigate the matter? And if (since the candidate is not a sitting president) the Service is not REQUIRED to investigate, wouldn't it be standard protocol to make a formal inquiry in any case? So? When will the Secret Service agents be visiting Trotta at her residence? And when will they be visiting Fox studios? I'm quite serious about this.
