Mukasey will say it's insufficient evidence.
...It's amazing that after getting threats by Karl Rove people would still want to be Republican.
Kucinich's Impeachment Hearings are LIVE on Cspan right now. Watch if you can. Spread the word.
This morning on the Stephanie Miller Show, it was reported that the Pentagon would NOT allow Obama to visit injured troops in Germany because it would appear to be "political". Just another bullshit Repub talking point debunked.
CROOKS AND LIARS: SORRY FOR THE OFF TOPIC AND THE OBNOXIOUS ITALICIZED, BOLDED, ALL CAPS POST, BUT IT NEEDS EMPHASIS: WHERE ARE THE POSTS ON IMPEACHMENT AND KUCINICH'S EFFORTS TODAY? EVERY PROGRESSIVE, LIBERAL, DEMOCRAT, INDEPENDENT ETC SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON THIS ALONE TODAY!

Jeez, you're neurotic like a lolcat. :)
Left&Left @ 4:
Didn't McShame visit the troops when he visited Iraq? Tho I know he was surrounded by troops when he visited the market.
Dennis Kucinich on CSPAN right now speaking about impeachment. Check it out.
Left&Left @ 4:
that is insane. and, hypocritically, it is a political decision NOT to allow his visit.
I would echo the poster above - We, The People, need to become informed about how our rights and freedoms have been violated. We also need to recognize that Bush and Cheney need to be held accountable for "HIGH CRIMES" against the constitution. Turn CSPAN on now - it's at least promising.
The day has finally arrived for Bush's impeachment for lying us into war and violating the constitution.

Jeez, you’re neurotic like a lolcat. :)
I've been told that before haha. I just wanted to apologize in advance to the moderators, since they usually do a really good job here and the rules for posting ARE clearly stated.

Dennis J. Kucinich: I salute you sir.
and i thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing what other politicians are either too cowardly, too lazy or too compromised to do themselves
and, btw, i am enjoying my new "DENNIS" tshirt, in day-glow yella.
IMPEACH!

Don't know what to make of this but this morning Andrea Mitchell was talking about this and she mentioned that it was thought that McCain knew someone at the Pentagon that could do him a favor by not allowing Obama to visit the hospital. She said that Obama wanted to go without cameras and press just as he visited the wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Karl Rove should remember, While Michael Mukasey may be the AG "Now", there will be a new one in just over four months. So while he may feel he can dodge the Justice Department at this time (if he attempts that) things WILL be different once a new President and Cabinet is in place.
I'm figuring he is busy buying a home in Paraguay right now and will be fleeing the country along with a few others in the bush mob.
Mc Cain is such a pathetic pandering lying sack of Neo on shit. First he says Obama don't know the world like Mc Stupid does because he hasn't been traveling enough. Then Obama goes over there, knocks them dead, and MC Shithead calls it a " premature victory lap". MC Dummy gets more dumb and transparent everyday.
pissed off patricia @ 16:
just sick. use injured vets as pawns? well, that is low, even for the mccainiacs.
i would be willing to lay down cash-money that the injured would love to be visited by obama--and that would go a long way to help moral and the spirit of the wounded.
if mitchell's report is accurate the mccain-DOD cabal has spurned the troops, for their own political benefit.
osiris @ 8:
Bob Barr is testifying now.
Bugliosi was awesome.
This is movie making stuff.
Wow.
displeased @ 6:
I disagree. I remember a quote(paraphrase): "If you seek the answer and not the question you lose your identity."
I love the Swift piece.
I did try to catch these efforts (by Kucinich), but failed. I did watch the Sarkozy/Obama efforts, but IT failed. The translation was horrible and neither man really had anything to say. Sarkozy basically just mentioned, before the press questions, "I'm just following him."
Shaheen just got kicked out.

The Karl Rove story should be THE story right now. Push this thing out further so that the MSM will have to take notice.
Where is the outrage indeed.
See Glenn Greenwald's penultimate piece of the Kucinich impeachment hearings. Very fine work as always.
We have a criminal government with only a very few of good conscience. Kucinich is one.
Here is the latest from Greenwald, with Daniel Ellsberg, another patriot. There are so few.
just watching msnbc and they are not unlike any of the other major news outlets. They are proclaiming that this will be a close race and the outcome is very much in the air. Will they issue any kind of retraction when in November there is no race at the end of the day. Obama in an unprecedented landslide. The young, the disenfranchised, the minorities will turn out in numbers the likes of which have never been seen before and vote for obama. I don't want to put the kibosh on Barack's chances, but hell, mccain is just a bush wannabee and the entire world knows what a failure he is. Well believe the groups already mentioned who are here in the us also know and they will swing this election and send mccain and middle america back to the depth from which they have risen in the past 8 years. now barack had to be cool until then and the day after he is elected he needs to announce impeachment hearings will proceed.
I don't know DC traffic law, but here in California if someone reported anyone (such as a senior like Novak) driving unsafely, they would be required to come in for a driver's test.
