In the year of 1977, plenty of people were surprised to see Iggy Pop live to see his 30th birthday. But there he was, along with some help from David Bowie, on the Dinah Shore Show singing a song from his latest album at the time The Idiot.
Forty years later he is celebrating his 70th birthday today.
