"Sleepy Joe" is ready to hit the picket lines. Forget the Sleepy Joe tag from Donald Trump. President Joe Biden is one of the most progressive presidents of our lifetime. Biden is set to travel to Michigan on Tuesday to join United Auto Workers on the picket line in a historic show of solidarity for striking workers amid the labor dispute.

UAW President Shawn Fain invited Biden, and the President was happy to make the trip to show his support.

"We invite and encourage everyone who supports our cause to join us on the picket line − from our friends and families, all the way up to the president of the United States," Fain said, giving his first explicit public invitation for Biden to show support for workers, according to USA Today.

According to the outlet, Biden's visit to Michigan will come one day before former President Donald Trump has said he plans to meet with striking auto workers in the Detroit area. The details of his visit are unclear. Trump, though, is anti-union. You can tell by the anti-labor members he appointed to the National Labor Relations Board. And Republicans are generally against unions. Just ask Tim Scott, the presidential hopeful who thinks if a worker goes on strike, they should be fired.

Trump is whoever you want him to be until he gets into office.
