Right as Rain from 19
Adele, at the very young age of 19, joins the ranks of Amy Winehouse, Duffy and Lily Allen of English female "blue-eyed soul" singers. I've featured her first single, Chasing Pavements, before, but since then I've purchased the CD and found every single song to be powerful and stand-alone, far more so than the aforementioned artists.
