To be fair, I'd believe McCain is petty enough to not shake his hand, but McCain tapped Obama to shake. Obama was too quick on the draw and thought he got snubbed, so moved on to Cindy.
You can see McCain say to him something about it like 'oops, you're too quick' or something to that effect, realizing Obama thought he got snubbed.
I think McCain is a dick, but let's not get carried away here and try and twist things.
I love how Wolf couldn't say the obvious about what was so apparent and just danced around it by talking about how McCain apparently isn't so fond of Obama. Quite clearly he rejected the handshake and redirected it to his wife.
Also, the context of the photo posted here is not explained. I assumed it was part of the debate, thinking, "Well, he must have shook his hand at some point." However, in the photo McCain is wearing a yellow tie, and in the video he is wearing a red one.

I have been watching this mess that McCain have done during the election and his attack on Barack Obama is crazy. John McCain is not only out of touch but he is racist. What he is doing is a disgrace to his country with his disgruntle ways is disgusting. Not to shake his hand and push is wife up to do it is a good sign that he like pushing people around. His wife body language was apparent as well. She had her hands behind her back. If you think you are better than everybody else that's the way you act like the McCains. She not only didn't want to shake Barack Obamas hand she did not shake anybody's hand but Brocoff willing. McCain need to learn how to respect everybody including the one who is winning right now in the polls. Barack Obama. Let be real if Obama had act like McCain it would be a lot of bad things being said about him in the media. What was very noticable to the veiwers was overlooked by the panel last night. That is McCain and his wife don't like Barack and his wife and whats scary is we don't know why. What is it really!
This man would shoot me in the face to become President, if he thought that was all it would take. He has nothing left but hate and bluster. His motto would be "McCain First!" if he had to tell the truth.

But to those who know the history of the word, applying it to Mr. McCain is a bit of a stretch — and to one Texas family in particular it is even a bit offensive.

Looks like the old fart got his clocked cleaned tonight--in his favorite debate format, no less!--and wasn't too happy about it. While I'm leery of making too much of this one event, the trend lines have been in Senator Obama's favor now ever since Caribou Barbie has been shown up for a fraud and this debate did NOTHING to change that.
