Tonight's music club comes to us from the Sahara desert. Tinariwen has a pretty unique sound, making use of traditional West African instruments in addition to rock instrumentation. This has resulted in a unique sound that has recently brought them much attention in the Western world. Artists from the U.S. such as Nels Cline of Wilco and Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio. Lovers of eclectic music will have no problem exploring the rich and diverse discography of this band.
