Just so you have a little background on this band, Them Crooked Vultures is a supergroup comprised of Josh Homme on vocals and guitar (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age), John Paul Jones on bass guitar and keyboards (Led Zeppelin) and Dave Grohl on drums and vocals (Nirvana, Foo Fighters). All three of them being the extremely talented musicians that they are, they put out an album full of great songs that was paired with a very successful tour. Each member of the group adds their own unique flavor to the mix that is this band, and it just wouldn't be the same without any one of them. I wouldn't say that this band's quality surpasses that of each member's original band, but it's still a solid group nonetheless. I highly recommend this band to anyone who enjoys any of the original projects of the band's lineup.
