Stop the presses! Donald Trump actually said something reasonable, and to Fox News viewers, no less.

Appearing on Fox and Friends, Trump slammed Pamela Geller hard for her antagonistic actions. But now the world must be ending because I agree with him.

Yes, she has the right to say whatever even if it means taking a dump over someone's most closely held beliefs. She has the right to encourage people to intentionally mock others' religion and she has the right to characterize people as "savages."

But having the right carries its own form of responsibility, and that's what Trump was speaking to here. Transcript via Real Clear Politics:

DONALD TRUMP: I watched Pam prior, and it looks like she's just taunting everybody. What is she doing? Drawing Mohammed and it looks like she's taunting people...

What are they doing drawing Mohammed? Isn't there something else they can draw? They can't do something else? They have to be in the middle of Texas and on Mohammed?

You know, I'm one that believes in free speech, probably more than she does. What's the purpose of this? She's taunting them...

I don't know, maybe she likes risk. What the hell is she doing?

What she was doing was creating the very best day of her life. As SteveM observed, this was a dream come true. Two dead lunatics and a platform to spew more hate for Islam.

There are many ways to celebrate free speech. This was one of the stupid ways.
