So much for Trump pretending his hands are clean on the birther attacks on Cruz. Trump's mean, nasty teabagger spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson was asked about the back and forth between Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz over "New York values" on CNN this Sunday afternoon and said this in response:
PIERSON: You're not going to be able to win a general election by alienating everyone except evangelical Christians and I think it's interesting, because Donald Trump actually has a broad coalition of, whether it's independents, evangelicals, tea party and even disenfranchised Democrats.
But when it comes to values specifically, Sen. Cruz is talking about things that Donald Trump had believed in seventeen years ago, when seventeen years ago, Sen. Cruz was a Canadian.
Nothing like watching these jerks eat their own.
