Trump advisor and vigorous supporter Lt. General Michael Flynn told MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle not to talk badly about Vladimir Putin after she correctly characterized him and said, "Stop it with that kind of stuff."

Host Ruhle asked Flynn, "I'm sorry, stop it with what? Stop it with what?

General Flynn replied, "How you're describing a leader in the world...We cannot make Russia an enemy..."

Wow, just wow.

Stephanie Ruhle's mean words almost started a war with Russia!

MSNBC's host tried to get get Flynn to comment on Russia's ties to Trump advisors and the FBI investigating Paul Manafort, but Flynn, as always, attacked the Clinton campaign instead.

Ruhle replied that Trump has never wavered in his support for Putin, and asked Flynn, "Is Vladimir Putin someone you would respect, someone who kills journalists, who's invaded Crimea? Is that a man you respect?"

That's when Gen Flynn became indignant of Ruhle's description of Vladimir.

Who knew a retired LT. General from our own military would be bowing down to Vladimir Putin?

He continued, "We cannot make Russia an enemy. Russia is a nation that is deeply involved in the middle east right now."

Apparently Ruhle's apt description of the Russian oligarch was too much for the retired General.

So when Trump says we have to toughen up around the world because President Obama is a weak leader, that doesn't apply to Russia.

That's good to know.
