Seeking to become the new Speaker of the House, Rep. Kevin McCarthy just told a press gaggle that he's still short of the 218 votes he needs to become Speaker and blamed a few greedy members from the Freedom Caucus for these issues.

After their closed-door meeting, instead of coming together, it appears House Republicans have hardened their stances against each other.

"We are not empowering certain people over others and last night I was presented with a way to get the votes if I provided certain members with certain positions, certain gavels to take over [garbled] committees to have certain budgets," McCarthy said.

"And they even came to the position where one Matt Gaetz said, I don't care if we go to plurality and we elect Hakeem Jeffries and it hurts the new front line members not to get re-elected."

McCarthy is naming names! Wait, creeps from the Freedom Caucus are only looking out for themselves? Color me shocked!

"I don't see how a few people, maybe it's five, maybe it's twenty," he said.

That's a lot of f**king people, Kevin.

To say I'm not enjoying this would be an understatement. The GOP has been a sh*t show for a long time now and this fight is emblematic of their ridiculousness.

The GOP has allowed the most extreme far right, QAnon racist idiots to hold office and take positions they should never hold. Now the chickens are coming home to roost.
