During his recent media blitz, Trump's former Vice President, Mike Pence, offered up as weak and milquetoast a criticism he could find to disagree with Florida governor Ron DeSantis' attacks on Disney.

Squawk Box host Andrew Ross Sorkin conducted the interview and asked the man who was hunted in the US Capitol by frenzied Trump supporters on January 6, how he felt about Ron DeSantis' actions attacking Disney.

Pence hemmed and hawed for a while and said he agreed with all the parent's right's nonsense cooked up by far-right activists using schoolchildren to inflict blunt force trauma on the Democratic party.

Pence went so far as to say that Disney actually lost in the dispute with Florida governor, which of course is not accurate.

Finally, Pence gave his answer.

"But the idea to go after their taxing authority, " Pence said. " I ... that was beyond the scope of what I, as a conservative, limited government Republican, would be prepared to do.”

Ouch, that was so not brutal.

The whole idea of "cancel culture" is as nonsensical as "wokeism." DeSantis proves that every day he's in office.
